The next show of the Buick season will be the Regional in Rockford , Ill.<BR>I sold a lot of parts at the national in Kokomo, BUT, I will be selling at the regional meet, and plan on having a GARAGE sale on the 18 Aug Sunday. Since I live only 4 miles from the Clock Tower inn. I have some sheet metal parts never brought to swap meets and lots of used parts from the 30s through the 70s. NOS rear Quarters for the 70 Electra,1 Convt , 1 Ht. NOS 350 short block,NOS 455 short block,used Stage 1 heads, B4B, 1938-40 brake drums.NORS rotors for 70.   4. For those who missed the swap meet, there was quite a bit of 1940 parts.Some earlier parts, mostly late 30s.Majority of parts were the 60s. Most unusual I had quite a few people looking for the 1961 and 1962 parts. A lot of used parts, and the supply of NOS parts is getting thinner every year. <BR>Vendor next to me sold a nice black trunk mat<BR>for $85, no cracks or rips, someone got a good buy.<P>Jim Schilf / palbuick@aol.com

  6. I believe that the 63 Riveria motors were all painted silver. this was the only year of this color, reguardless of engine size.<BR>The standard 4021s were a greenish color. The other color was red on the GS 401s and the 1966 425s.<P>JimSchilf / palbuick@aol.com

  9. I also have seen an early Illinois leather plate 1905-06. This plate had brass numbers rivited onto the leather, the numbers seemed to be the old house numbers also. <BR>palbuick@aol.com

  14. i HAVE NEW, window channel for rear tailgate window. This is the chrome channel that glass sits in and controls the up-down motion of window. <BR>Can send picture and part number if interested. This is the part that usually rust away and will not support glass.<P>Jim Schlf / palbuick@al.com

I have a few parts for the 60 series, 6 cyl motor.<BR>Water pump, Timing chain housing, linkage for gas pedal, gas pedal Pulley, starter pedal and some linkage, water goose neck, cowl tag. there is some other parts, all used some glassbeaded, all seem to be in excellent condition. About 25 lbs of iron,<BR>one price $ 50.00, plus shipping.   17. I don't think you are going to be able to change to a 17 in rim. All the Limited series had a larger center hub hole, no other Buick rim would fit only the limited series. If you start digging into the limited series you will find that not much will interchange from the standard Buick to the Limiteds,Brake drums are larger, Berings are different Brake shoes are larger, Shocks are different, all suspension is different. I have had and owned a lot of Buick over the last 30 years, but never had a limited series simply for this reason, parts were so difficult to locate, don't get me wrong they are a great car,but you must have paitience when looking for parts and information.<P>Jim Schilf / palbuick@aol.com

  19. If you can do some checking on part munbers I have a new set of front rotors for a 70 Buick, fits all series B-C-E, Lesabre, Wildcat Electra amd Riviera, These are NEW, and fit the 70 only. I will get the part number and post it later today, Aftermarket Wagner or some other brand. I know on the Buicks the disc brakes were an option and rare, up to 1970.<BR>Jim Schilf / palbuick@aol.com

  22. You hae the right procedure, grinding off the old welds and pressing out the old joints, installing new with the large nut. I had to do this with my 66 Wildcat. Best to have a machine shop do the work, you wil ned a good press for the in and out process.<P>Jim Schilf / palbuick@aol.com

  25. It took me a while but I found the catalog. A company in Ohio makes replacement tailpans for Buick-Olds- pontiac 1935 to 1948. The co. is EMS Rngineering & Manufacturing Services, Box 24362, Cleveland, Ohio, 44124-0362, Area 440-446-1620. the catalog I have is from 1998.<BR>I have one reproduction rear gravel pan, a 2 piece pan for the 39 Buick, 40 - 60 series.<P>Jim Schilf / palbuick@aol.com
