  1. This could be a real prize if a personal inspection doesn’t prove otherwise.
  2. Having grown up riding around in a 52 Chev tin woody wagon they don't appeal to me. This one is kind of neat. The above statement is kind of confusing. Is it painted or wrapped?
  3. It's a little too outlandish for my taste. Both the continental kit and the color. The bottom of the passengers door and the rocker panel don't line up right. Might be worth looking into. Other than that it looks like a nice car.
  4. You'd be surprised at how many people out here in Buffalo Flats are millionaires and look like the standard old farmers they started out as. They may have brand new Vehicles setting in the garage but prefer to drive the old Cheyanne pickup that still fits like a glove and is simple to operate. Many young sales people have learned that lesson the hard way.
  5. Another one of those “what were they thinking” cars . Nothing a couple cans of Rustoleum wouldn’t fix.
  6. That's gotta hurt. Wonder if the driver kept his job?
  7. This looks like a good deal if your into sports cars. I wouldn't be afraid of rust if its been in the eastern Washington all it's life.
  8. Lot of unknowns for a lot of money. Looks to have been repainted and it would be nice to know what's under it. It would be a nice project if it could be had at the right price. Parts support should be good and fairly easy to come by.
  9. Whoever let that car set like that should be skinned alive. Those are absolutely beautiful when in nice condition.
  10. Jack your car was beautiful. The listed car looks like more work and money than I could handle in a lifetime. Some cars make good fun drivers without investing a lot of money. This car just looks badly neglected.
  11. Are you really accomplishing anything by taking the keys out of the ignition switch and laying them on the seat? For $30K it would seem logical to pull it out of storage and take some good photos. Another of those "Dear I am trying to sell it!" scenarios.
  12. Too bad it's gone downhill so much. Gonna cost a bunch to bring it back to life now.
  13. The lower rag top gives it a real old gangster look. Thinking that a new top is one thing I would splurge for and leave it up.
  14. Shine running cars live a hard life. It's still hard for me to think of a car of this stature having 3 on the tree. Just seems they deserved something better.
  15. I think I must have one foot in the grave every time I see cars this age showing on a site like this. Gads I'm getting old!
  16. You are not. Unfortunately some people think the farther they stick out the better they look. 😖
  17. I'm to the point that all projects are done and later this week June Bug is going back into the shop. Before though is going to be a major shop cleaning. My Grandson is now working after school so he is only available on a limited basis. I'm happy for him but miss him. I'm to the point where I can usually get out in the shop for 2 or 3 afternoons a day. I'm bound and determined to have the car back on the road this spring. It's hard to see it in the garage and not be able to go for a drive. Hope all you folks are having a good new year. Chris
  18. Beauty is in the eye .................. I'm still smiling 🤣
  19. I'm setting here looking at a cast replica of that panel. My first old vehicle was a 36 Humpback Dodge delivery. Put a lot of good miles on it and is the only car that I regret selling. I paid $350.00 for it in 1969. I did have the original wheels and and Ram hood ornament. Other than a little piston slap it was in very good shape with no rust anywhere.
  20. Yes they were Ho Hum cars in their day. I'm wondering is there really much of a market today?
  21. From the length of the hood it looks like it was a straight 8.
