  1. I prefer the Mercurys over the Lincolns and the Fords over either of them. And you don't care anyway. 🥴
  2. I'd like to know for sure the wood in the body is solid before going to look at it.
  3. I’m with you on fiberglass in 1938. Still it’s a nice find.
  4. I'm sorry but I can't get past the top. It's starting to look like something that was found in a Goodwill box and that would kill it for me.
  5. I had to take my drivers test in a Travelall. The examiner even felt sorry for me. Back in the day you saw a lot of Airstreams being pulled by them. The gas mileage was not their big thing.
  6. 2 Dr. sedans are nice for the extra room between the steering wheel and the front seat back. Larger doors make it easier to get in and out.
  7. Your probably right but considering the condition of the rest of the car those seats are plenty good for my fanny. Whoever picked out the interior did a better job than I would have. I'm not being critical of you in anyway I just happen to like the car.
  8. Your right. It looks exactly like a state of Oregon vehicle of that time. Same color and everything. I like it a lot.
  9. I think it’s going to be a while before we see another convertible in this condition for this money.
  10. Just in case you missed the others! 11. If I was thumbing a ride and this car stopped I think I'd have to pass. Only because I didn't want to get my wet pants on the seat.
  12. No sense stopping at the paint booth. They don't make a color that will help that vehicle.
  13. Or how out of line the prices are on the other ones.
  14. Lots of good photos, but good lighting would have helped. The price seems to match up pretty nicely with the car.
  15. I’m guessing that the person who built this was looking to own a car of this type. Probably saw one and couldn’t get it out of his head.
  16. Considering what I've seen some of these parts compilations go for this one looks pretty nice.
