  1. My memory is very foggy but I recall visiting Dick Boeshore in a building with a lot of school buses and seeing a Duesenberg Murphy convertible coupe missing its wire wheels and I believe a 1933 orange and cream Auburn speedster. There was some issue with the banks and the duesenberg and the missing wheels but I don’t recall the particulars.
  2. Attached is photos of arm chair Beverly seats after restoration. These are from the arm chair Beverly that I mentioned earlier that came out of a junk yard in Buffalo New York. If your Cord doesn’t have these seats, you only have a Westchester.
  3. Very rare care……I think only about 12-15 were produced. If I was 20 years younger, I’d pounce on the sale of this car. I owned a rough one about 25 years ago that came out of a junk yard in buffalo New York, sold it to royalty in Great Britain who had the car fully restored and who then sold it back to a ACD club member in Beverly Hills.
  4. One of my all time favorite cars. I owned a complete, running, RUST free 1932 Desoto coupe with rumble seat about 22 years ago. My intention was to fully restore the Desoto. But my youngest daughter was getting married and that was more important than the Desoto. I sold the Desoto to help pay for a portion of the wedding . I believe that car ended up in Utah. When I first saw this being advertised, I got real excited and thought about taking on one last project. However looking at the photos, it became apparent I would not live long enough or have enough money to complete that dream.

  6. Hi RL Hunter. I miss spoke. I do have the NOS regulator if interested.
  7. Story reminds me a little bit when I traveled to Meriden Ct. in the early 80’s look at a Duesenberg J convertible coupe up on blocks that wasn’t for sale. From Meriden the car headed to Florida with the owner and I then lost track of the car.
  8. The last Cord I restored had a honeycomb radiator that couldn’t be repaired. I had a new honeycomb radiator core made in Great Britain to the tune of $2200. It was perfect but expensive. I then had to solder on the top and bottom tanks.
  9. Close to 80 years old and being active in the car hobby for over 53 years involved mostly with Cords and Cord parts, I’ve sold Everything within the last 6 months probably at 50% of actual value in order to sell everything. No one is promised tomorrow and I didn’t want to leave a burden to my kids to try and get rid of everything. Do I miss not being able to drive a Cord……..absolutely.
