I have a nice looking but non running six volt electric clock in my 35 Buick and was wondering how hard it would be to make it a windup one.If anyone has done this Is like some tips.Thanks,Greg.

I'm the Buick pre-war section there's a 1920 Buick for $6000 with a rebuilt motor and new tires.I wish I had the room for it, sounds like a good deal.

My 35 Buick was the same way.I don't know how you're is activated but on mine I shortened the rod or linkage that activated the arm on the brake switch.There's also a way to adjust the switch placement on mine by shifting it to the rear.Mine works as it should now.

I did that right after I got married ( forty years ago Sunday) moving to Florida from Illinois but it was a larger u-haul truck and the wife's amc spirit was completely inside.The difficult part was unloading it when we got to Florida. What a trip,no a/c and her collie with us in the front seat drooling and panting the whole way!

Is the starter the same on a 40 and a 50 series 35 buick?

Hi,I have an extra starter for a 35 40 series,I don't know if it's the same or not.I couldn't find a number on the solenoid. Starter has 491 stamped on it and the delco tag says 1107078 0011.

That's awfully tempting for the price.My wife and I are going to drive to northern Illinois from Florida in the middle of June.She found out that her brother in law has brain cancer and wants to see him. I had a 60Renault Daulphine in high school that I paid $50 for.My dad traded a shot gun for it. It burned a hole though the top of a piston and a mechanic got it running enough for me to sell it.I got $250 for it.

I went to an automatic transmission school in the mid seventies in Chicago.A guy who graduated with me opened up a shop and I heard he didn't have a work bench and had a couple of large dogs who shed hair all over.

How often should points,condensor,plugs,rotor,plug wires be replaced on a car that gets driven rarely and started every few weeks.It must have been like twenty years or more on my Buick but it still starts right up. 35 40 series.Greg

Hi,There's a 56 Nash Rambled Sport 4 door sedan for sale close to me for $8000. Looks good in the pictures.three speed on the colum.He might be willing to trade for my 74 MG but are there anything I should be aware of on the Nash? I kinda like the looks of it and the paint color. Dosent look like it has a radio. Are those hard to find if not? Thanks.
