  1. Jim,Thanks for the compliment.I'm glad you're my friend. We need all we can get these days. Need me to look for anything at Turkey run on Sunday?Greg.
  2. I have a nice clock delete plate that I decided not to use for my 35 buick. Mines a 40 series but I think it will fit others,Greg.
  3. I guess I'll have to change mine on my 35,I put it in the trough. I can't see how it would go on the lid though.Any pictures? Thanks
  4. Hi,Here's a picture I just took of the clutch spring,I hope it helps,Greg. Please send a picture of your car.
  5. I'll try to look at my 35,40 series tomorrow and see if I can take a picture.
  6. Could you post a picture of your exhaust hanger?I need to make one for my 35 but I'm sure it's different. Thanks
  7. Thanks, I hate the idea of trying to feed a new wire in that right space though.
  8. It's titled as a 74 and they changed to rubber bumpers in 74 1/2. However someone before me either installed an earlier interior(they did a nice job) because it appears to be from a 69(no glove box) or it is an earlier car with a newer title, I don't know. The vin is for a 74 is all I know and it has a clear title. Thanks for the response.Greg.
  9. Grimy,I ran a wire from the dome light to a good ground on the dash and it works with the door open as it should. Mabe the door hinges are at fault,I don't know. Now what? I can't see how it would be too much grease but who kows?
  10. I saw this last night and thought how true about standard shift cars and funny. Anybody else catch it?
  11. Installed a locking outside door handle, now I have to get a second key made, on my 35 Buick.
  12. Yes,like I said the problem only happens on the passenger side front door.
  13. I just added a woven ground strap from the frame to the body, still the same. I'll do like you said with the dome housing probably tomorrow.
  14. Never mind,I used 8-32 set screws, works good.
  15. Other than trying to locate a new handle, what's the best way to keep the handle from slipping on the inside splines? I thought a set screw would work but if there's a better way, please let me know,Thanks.
  16. Just teach your car to roll over and scratch his belly.
  17. Makes sense. So did British cars have the lock on the opposite side?
  18. Interesting, thanks. If it's a safety concern the gas cap should be on the right also.
  19. Just curious. My shop manual for my 35 Buick says you can lock the car from the outside passenger front door.So that's where I installed it. Wouldn't it make more sense to have it on the driver side? I guess closest to the curb mabe?
  20. He just posted a 1917 Ford in Chicago, they're coming out of the woodworks!
  21. If anyone needs an outside door handle for a 1935 buick, I just got a good locking one for mine. All I ask is to pay for shipping from Florida. The lock cylinder is no good in it but it's a handle.Greg.
