I remember on some cars(mabe in the 60's) that you could tell the year because it was stamped on the tail light lense. Do they still do that? Just wondered.Funny what you remember.
I used cerium oxide on my son's 66 mustang windshield and it came out pretty nice. I bought a kit on line that came with the powder and buffing pads. I can't remember who sold it.Greg
Just wondered,I think I've got them positioned right. My inside door handles are pointing up at about the10 0 clock posistion. Am I right? Thanks. I saw a car for sale(not a buick)and they were pointed down, that's why I asked.Greg
On my 35 I noticed that the Driver side door upper right edge is about 1/4" out from the post or door pillar, not lined up with the passenger door.I recently had both front door panels off and neither door rod was secured at the bottom but I fixed that.Greg.
It's titled as a 74 and they changed to rubber bumpers in 74 1/2. However someone before me either installed an earlier interior(they did a nice job) because it appears to be from a 69(no glove box) or it is an earlier car with a newer title, I don't know. The vin is for a 74 is all I know and it has a clear title. Thanks for the response.Greg.
Grimy,I ran a wire from the dome light to a good ground on the dash and it works with the door open as it should. Mabe the door hinges are at fault,I don't know. Now what? I can't see how it would be too much grease but who kows?
