  1. Looks like a good one if you don't mind the color (or colour since it's a McLaughlin) The whole story of McLaughlin is very interesting! https://vancouver.craigslist.org/nvn/cto/d/north-vancouver-1937-mclaughlin-buick/7610844709.html 4 door sedan, good to excellent, appraised in 2017, always garaged, straight 8 engine, runs quietly. numerous spare parts negotiable, good historical documentation. email: c50c4c536d3430de9fe93f6ac1d00807@sale.craigslist.org

  5. Looks very nice, I certainly hope it doesn't become a hot rod! https://mohave.craigslist.org/cto/d/hackberry-hot-rods-1936-studebaker/7611954180.html have for sale a 1936 Studebaker car is in really good condition. Interior is super nice has been sitting for a few years. Will need battery and probably carburetor cleaned not running at this time so don’t ask if it is this would make a great hot rod or Leave it the way it is bumpers were re-chromed glass is an all good condition suicide doors you may call 909-835-3547
  6. That is one rare car! It would have been nice if they included a little more info. I'm no Allard expert but I believe by this period they had switched from big American V8s to British 6 cylinders. This car is not as pretty as the Palm Beach.
  7. One of the nicer ones I've seen...I think the price is only a couple of thousand high. I realize we're talking about something few members of this forum would aspire to, but at least it's a better use of the VW chassis than those Mercedes that look a all nothing like a real one.
  8. A very nice example and a usable classic, but I doubt it will find a buyer at this price. On the other hand, you won't find a better one.... 9. My cousin in Sweden has a 2CV and I always request we all go somewhere in it when I visit. Roundabouts are especially fun!
  10. I think these are another example of quirky styling that seemed bad at the time but now, years later, it's bold statement is appreciated as a reflection of its time. Or to say it plainer, Kool Man! Also, the slant six is a great engine!
  11. Model A prices are really all over the board, but you can certainly find much nicer examples for close to this price. On the other had, this seller may take quite a bit less a couple of weeks from now. from the ad: 1928 Model A for sale all original. Needs work but it will run. $7,500.00 obo Contact Jason 6o2seven21six025
  12. Looks like a very original "driver" that just needs the easy stuff. More text in the ad. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1950-buick-special.1284081/ Selling my fairly recently acquired 1950 Buick. I bought it from the original owners son and it has lived its whole life in the town that I work in. Car has 67,000 original miles and is likely the most solid and unmolested old car I have ever owned. I haven’t found any rust in the car at all. It has had one amateur repaint. It has the original 248 and Dyna Flow transmission as far as I know. When I got the car, it had been sitting a while, but brakes, etc. all still worked. So, I installed a new electric fuel pump and new hoses, changed the fluids, and started driving it. I have probably put 3-4k miles on it since I started driving it which is about half the number of miles that were put on it from 1963 to the present according to the oil change tag in the door jamb. All the lights, turn signal, etc. all still work and the car is still 6 volt. It still needs some work to be a nice car, but is a very nice start. It needs seat covers and tires among other things. I haven't even tuned it up, but it actually seems to run pretty decent down the road. Call or text at 580-370-5852 Jeff
  13. Yes! Way too little information! You can't see it very well but I think it looks like a basically stock Model A with an alternator.
  14. Pretty common in period. I once owned a CG Imperial (or parts of one) that had become a hay wagon.
  15. Much better than most "speedsters" you see. If it were mine I'd get rid of the numbers, and add hood sides https://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/cto/d/redondo-beach-1929-ford-boattail/7608361534.html (310) 621-9582*Weber Carburetor*K&N air filter*Mallory distributor*Taylor 8mm spark plug wires*Hydraulic brakes*adjustable suspension*period correct wire wheels*gorgeous red interior*black seat belts*stewart-warner police special gauges*street legal turn signals and break lights license plate holder headlights
  16. Once again I get to learn something new, and it's only 8:56AM! Thanks!
  17. Looks like a very nice "driver". Yes, the price is "Buick money" but there are die hard Chevy fans... https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/d/walnut-creek-1941-chevrolet-special/7610310816.html Original two door coupe. Beautiful solid body. Original mohair wool interior. Original 216 CI motor. Three speed on the column. Very drivable but could use a brake job. Price is firm. Thanks for looking, Tony (nine 2 5) 2 one six - one 1 five 8. Call or text
  18. Might be fairly priced! 4 wheel hydraulic brakes were an extra cost option on the 4 cylinder. https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/dunnigan-1928-chrysler-coupe-51-series/7609023965.html 1928 chrysler cool old car in very solid condition, stored in side for years .All there and complete, has a new gas tank in it ,but the fuel lines have not been hooked back up. With some small tlc it would be a good runner .Clean CA title and up to date reg. It's really a neat rare car . (510) 730-5192
  19. I have a feeling we've seen this before, but searching didn't turn it up. Not much information, price listed seems like it might put people off. https://fresno.craigslist.org/cto/d/madera-1926-paige-model-75/7609716927.html I have had this Vehicle for over 20 years and have enjoyed it. It runs like a sewing machine and can be restored or enjoyed just like it is. The registration is current with title in hand. I will consider a reasonable offer if you care to wait so I can look at all reasonable offers or buy now listed price
  20. Says "partly restored"...wonder what's lacking? https://redding.craigslist.org/cto/d/redding-39-ford-dr-sedan/7610103386.html Partly restored. New interior, new paint, new tires, new brakes, rebuilt engine, transmission and clutch. Drives and runs good. Calls or texts only. (541) 815-6173
  21. When I was in High School my father really got after me because he discovered a spot of ice cream about the size of a pin head on the door card of his car after I borrowed it.
  22. Being "want ad addicted" I really can't help it, and most importantly, it's a way for me to learn about cars I'm not familiar with. You can never have too much useless information!
