  1. Very interesting question. I'm a big fan of the early products of the Chrysler Corp. Walter Chrysler had a wonderful engineering team and he mostly let them do what they wanted. I'd certainly take a '32 Plymouth over a '32 Model B, but '33 the V8 had most of the bugs fixed and I think they are the prettiest of all Fords. Of course the Plymouth definitely has some features the Fold doesn't (better brakes being high on that list).
  2. Interesting projects and what's here is beautiful. No price given. 3. This would be a good price if it ran. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/d/pleasanton-1934-buick-60/7623516946.html I have a 34’ Buick all Original car that was bought from the original owner when my father purchased it in 1973 from them. Car was sitting in their garage for many years. It’s a great story and it’s been in our family for 50 years now. It’s not being driven my father always preserved things and not use them. He did use it a few times for a wedding and took it to a car show once and won first place. I think for most original. It has original paint, motor and transmission original clutch still in it.Has 83,000 original miles. Last time my dad drove it was probably 12-15 years ago? email: 91d552cb9fbe3e83ad8366d7665b657a@sale.craigslist.org

  6. I had no idea! I like to say that's the advantage to ignorance; it gives a tremendous opportunity to learn.
  7. I had a TR-3 for a while. Great fun in town but you could run over a dime and tell by the feel if it was heads or tails. I finally decided it was more fun to see one driving by than to be in it.

  10. The interior makes me think of my youth when friends would take their cars to Tijuana Mexico for a cheap "tuck and roll job".
  11. I bet the paint could be improved with modern care products. Looks like a nice car at a reasonable price.

  14. Price is into Buick territory but this is a usable collector car (can't say classic) more pics in the ad https://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/d/port-orchard-chevy-1935/7621504738.html# This 1935 Chevy 3 window coupe runs and drives has original rebuilt 6 cylinder 3 speed, 30,000 original miles Arizona car solid No rest no wood issues, grill and radiator are excellent, door and Wing Windows still work like new original interior, excellent hot rod material for the right person, car is located in Port Orchard call Darrel for details 360-876-5224
  15. I guess the custom part is the interior...can't be right can it? https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/d/camas-1948-desoto-custom/7621507111.html 1. Beautifully restored at some point in its life and has had little use since.2. The flathead 6 cylinder purrs like a kitten with an intact appropriately quiet exhaust system. The carburetor was just rebuilt and a new fuel pump installed.3. The interior was exquisitely done very clearly from a high quality custom car experienced upholstery genius. The headliner is quite notable and done very nicely with a very distinct attention to detail and quality. All the doors and door handles work as they should and all the windows work as they should however the rear driver's passenger window feels like it needs to be lubricated I did not force it but it is connected and does move a little bit up and down but rather than force it somebody needs to take the door panel off and lubricate the mechanism.4. The suicide doors are cool cool cool and it has all new door seals etc.5. There is some rust on the front bumper pads and also the rear. Some re-chroming recommended on a few pieces where the chrome has started to rust all in all it is in excellent condition. Please take note of all the pictures.6. It needs a glove box door. Two pieces of chrome trim on the rear fenders seem to be missing. Also it looks like on the trunk there might be some sort of a logo or something that might be missing there.7. We are working on the brake system and are replacing parts as necessary.8. This is an incredible barn find that is 95% complete and certainly a perfect mini project for a connoisseur who understands and appreciates the quality and value of this vintage machine. 16. I read that they were competitive in American stock car races in the 50's.
  17. The interior seems too good to be original, but I guess it could have spent years under those clear plastic covers.... More pics in ad... https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/d/santa-rosa-1949-cadillac-model-62-four/7620666547.html (707) 888-9757 Road and Track “Car of the Year”. Original, low mileage (37,378) with documented history. YES, “they are only original once”. If you want an original, untouched beautiful Cadillac consider this car. Super quiet engine with automatic transmission. Everything superbly original. While paint is original, it’s faded. But virtually everyone says, DON’T PAINT IT, keep it original. Mixed emotions. With a new paint job it would be gorgeous but original it’s to be admired. I’m going on 85 and reducing my collection. If you find one this nice for the price, I’d be surprised.
  18. I'm beginning to think the most difficult part to obtain on vehicles of this period is the air cleaner! Often not present on an otherwise nice car.

  22. Very nice design! It looks like a lot of the panels would need replacement, and I'd be skeptical of any racing history.....but very fun to see! Thanks for posting!

In the late 1980's / early 1990's this Stutz had a painstaking nut & bolt restoration undertaken upon it by an assortment of UK specialists resulting in the car we find today. All ash wood was removed & renewed using the old rotted pieces as templates. The car has since then covered over 20,000 trobule free miles ranging through various corners of Europe. Introduced in 1926 the Vertical Eight was an outstanding success & continued in production until 1934. The block & crank case are cast Iron with the crank case line 2 1/4" below the centre of the crankshaft to ensure a very rigid block.
