  1. Certainly an impressive vehicle...(more pics in ad) https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/d/houston-beautiful-1930-cadillac-lasalle/7724213452.html 1930 Cadillac LaSalle Convertible Coupe, with rumble seat. Beautiful older restoration that was in a Michigan Car Dealership collection. Interior is leather and immaculate. The car starts easily and the original 340 ci V8 runs beautifully. The speedometer needs repair. A similar year and style Cadillac LaSalle recently sold for $82,000. Asking $69,900. Negotiable email: 00e4d21848ec33eea0a9da0d18ef645a@sale.craigslist.org
  2. It's very difficult to find previous Model A posts (too many!) but this has been for sale for a long time, beginning at a much higher price. This price seems pretty fair if inspection doesn't reveal something really bad. It would be a useful vehicle, you just need to be comfortable with an economy airline seating arraignment. https://slo.craigslist.org/cto/d/arroyo-grande-1928-model-pickup-truck/7717086472.html This 1928 Ford pickup looks I have been told, should not take a lot to get going again. The paint looks to be original and has some rust. The truck is a bit rougher than the photos show. This was my father's truck. He passed which is way I'm selling it. email: 57174f46964a3e15bc02da4d58386f40@sale.craigslist.org
  3. Is '32 the last year for this body style? I knew of them as Model A's but not later. It was revived by Jaguar in the 80's.
  4. The '59 Ford I learned to drive in had vacuum wipers. I vividly remember them stopping when I floored it to pull out and pass a truck in the rain. Just when you need them most!
  5. Good point about California weather patterns. Living here we forget it's a bid different than other areas, but I do remember my Swedish relatives being shocked to think we would not expect any rain from May and September.
  6. 7. This is starting to seem like a reasonable deal! https://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/d/modesto-1932-chevy-cabriolet/7722928766.html One of the best looking models in the 1932 year. The cabriolet has real glass roll up windows for better winter driving. This car had an early 2000's restoration and is totally rust free. It comes with the new six cylinder overhead valve engine with three speed manual transmission with syncro-mesh second and third gear. It is all original with the classic rumble seat and spare tire on back. The car runs like new with all the right equipment. All gauges work as they should. I installed a new gas tank and fuel pump but I have the old ones that will go with the car. I am moving and would rather not have to haul a car. THE FIRST BID OVER 26,000.00 GETS THIS CAR. This car is in great condition. Come see it. (209) 918-3187
  8. Seems like a very solid car. More pics and much more info in the ad. (Needs a stock steering wheel!) https://chico.craigslist.org/cto/d/orland-1955-ford-thunderbird/7720982200.html 47 years owned by same family (530) 966-8166 This car has very few options. The only options are a body-colored hardtop, an engine dress up kit, power seat, factory undercoating and automatic transmission (3.30 to 1 axle ratio). Radio and heater were standard. Because of the factory (or possibly dealer undercoated) undercoating and indoor storage, the car is rust free. The underside of the car has not been detailed. The engine compartment has been cleaned but not detailed. The car was ordered with manual steering, manual brakes, manual windows and no convertible top. All 1955 Thunderbirds were equipped with a 292 cubic inch V-8 with a standard four-barrel carburetor which produced 198 horse power. The paint is Thunderbird Blue with Turquoise and White interior. In my opinion the best 1955 color combination. With few power accessories, there is very little maintenance needed for costly repairs and with no convertible top, ongoing maintenance and replacement is eliminated. As an added note, with manual brakes the car still has brakes if the engine stops running. This car looks great, but it is not a show car. It is a car meant to be driven, therefore, it is a great driver…..not a trailer queen.
  9. You can't make this stuff up! https://redding.craigslist.org/cto/d/anderson-1965-america-gambler/7722803506.html 1965 America rambler Have a motor and transmission and driveline that comes with it Motor has around 35,000 miles It's a v8 dodge motor (530) 356-0411
  10. Interesting car, and honest ad! https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/d/san-francisco-1962-buick-special/7723574912.html Very unusual car, sold as is for $3300 or best offer. Was my daily driver for years and then parked it and hardly driven for last 10 years. A mechanic recently worked on it to get it running and installed new brake cylinders, new brake hoses for front wheels, rebuilt master cylinder and new front bearings. Cast iron V6 engine seems strong, automatic transmission (2 speed) shifts easily. Interior is decent and pretty much intact though drivers side seat springs are shot. Numerous rust spots on body, convertible top fell apart but worked fine before and all parts are there except for one clip where top clips to windshield. Years ago someone stole it and destroyed the gas cap and trunk lock and both are inoperable. Driving home from the mechanics was great until it start smoking badly. Will need to be towed to your location as it needs further checking before driving very far. Not really sure if odometer is correct and it may have turned over. (415) 608-7206
  11. Need a lot more information to justify this price, but a neat and interesting car that does look complete! https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/d/satsop-1951-lincoln-cosmopolitan/7723934331.html 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan, 100% complete, 337 flat head, automatic. Stored 68 years. (360) 580-0944
  12. Exotic Italian by a famously quirky French builder...what could go wrong? For some reason it puts me in mind of the design work Porsche did for Studebaker.
  13. Some of the most beautiful interior metal work, and an interesting and powerful engine! I wouldn't want to try to put something together I hadn't taken apart unless I was VERY familiar with the particulars. I don't know about the price in this condition, but is sure should go to a good home.
  14. I like it. Like you I like ALL types. Heck, I would love to have a Cadillac Cimarron!
  15. My old SAAB had 4 on the column. I think it was also considered a safety advantage because your hand was off the wheel a shorter amount of time.
  16. This car looks very familiar but searching in this forum didn't show it. More pics and info in the ad (but NOTHING about this particular car!) I was doing OK until I got to the interior! Why why why! https://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/d/hereford-1940-lasalle-52-special/7720047627.html
  17. Not one you see every day! (more pics in ad) https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/cto/d/lancaster-1953-willys-aero-ace/7723669111.html 1953 Willys Aero Ace with a complete rebuilt 6 Cylinder Engine and a 3 Speed column shift Manual transmission and its $5000. I WILL TRADE for something of equal value, clean title. completely original. (661) 916-8511
  18. Lots more info in the ad (but only the one picture!) ...seems a fair price! https://ventura.craigslist.org/cto/d/ojai-1932-essex-terraplane/7723727684.html This 6 cylinder, 2-door coach had a frame-off restoration 25 years ago and has been 100% garaged. It’s not a show-quality immaculate restoration but was rebuilt to be driven. The engine has been professionally rebuilt and is a very strong runner. Paint is not Terraplane original but the colors (tan & maroon) are true Essex colors for 1932. A few details need to be completed (see below). Only 200 miles driven since restoration. I installed dark brown carpeting but new original rubber floor mat comes with car. I installed reflective firewall insulation to reduce heat from engine compartment but it’s removable. Car is garaged in Ojai, California, and can be examined there. $12,000 OBO. Offers accepted. *Pops out of 2nd gear so I just bypass it when driving. I’ve never missed it because engine is so strong. Not sure if it’s the gear, forks, ? Due to personal circumstances I really must sell this car. I will consider all serious offers. email: f04afd8223d53423826082adda39cc41@sale.craigslist.org
  19. Interesting...there was a time when I might have thought this was fun. Now camping to me means the Hampton Inn. I don't think there was fiberglass in 1938, but this would look nice with matching paint behind anything made in the 50's. https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/citrus-heights-1938-detroiter-vintage/7723632201.html Vintage Camper Trailer, Detroiter, Fiberglass teardrop style, Current tags for California, Vintage stove comes with purchase, Not much to the inside, just a cabinet and shelf, all there and complete. $7500 or best cash offer takes it. 20. Might be worth it as a parts car. I don't have any first hand knowledge, but a car with so many hydraulic features that has sat for years.......
  21. Top of the market money for an A coupe, interesting that the Model A is one car that mods like are at least neutral and might add a little value. 24. So many museums, so little time! The one that was off the beaten track I particularly enjoyed: Owl's Head in Maine. The one that's currently top of wish list (maybe next year?) https://www.musee-automobile.fr/en/
