  1. I bought a 3/4" Craftsman ratchet at the Sears going out of business sale. Very sad. 50% off I think it was, or maybe more. Always liked the Sears setup because you could buy an individual socket or wrench, not just sets. Now maybe i should sell that big ratchet, since I have not used it yet.
  2. The vehicle was a "log jocker" ???? The cable used would be a choker. Wonder if that is correct? You would have a jocker pulling a log with a choker?
  3. That photo is on a greeting cards. Inside the card it says something like "Happy Birthday, Doggone Cool" or something like that. So maybe the whole thing is a made-up, photoshopped picture. Dog On Hood Of Car - Avanti Funny German Shepherd Birthday Card
  4. Yes must be a foreign Ford model. The bumper looks the same except for the ends. The bolt locations are the same. The thinned down center part of the bumper looks the same. The sheet metal opening below the center thin section of the bumper looks different, with it being rectangular on the Torino and curved on the unidentified subject.
  5. the bumper outer corner is very different, where it goes up to meet the body sheet metal, it is much shorter.
  6. Not matching at the bumper lower outside corner.
  7. It should be priced like a project car without a drivetrain. I certainly would have used a standard transmission.
  8. Don't try this with the engine running.
  9. Great video. I like seeing the wood frame for the body, watching them paint without any dust mask or anything, and the panning video of the complex and surrounding homes.
  10. Band brake. A drum type piece bolted to the yoke, transmission output. I have a 1964 Dodge D100 pickup with this type. A disc could be done the same way. But I'm thinking maybe this could be adapted easier, even by salvaging some parts from a wrecking yard and adapting them.
  11. Looked like a good deal for $7,000. The seller just got it at an estate sale type situation and flipped it.
  12. I figure the "Beverly Hills Car Club" asking prices are double what they paid, and sometimes much more than double. They do have some I might be interested in, but priced way too high. They are asking $24,750 for this And $9750 for this, which I had the chance to get a much better one without all the rust for $4,000
  13. they even have a Delahaye. Did you see that one? https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1939-delahaye-135m-cabriolet-c-12268.htm
  14. that dealer is amusing https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/inventory.htm
  15. He's got one of those 1929 MERCEDES BENZ SSK's too. $14,500
  16. 1934 PACKARD i8i385 vin# 753278 dated 10/21/33 $30,000 This beautiful PACKARD is from my private collection. I believe it is very important to mention two very interesting facts about this vehicle. It has 2600 ORIGINAL miles! You may ask why are the miles so low? From what we have been able to learn about this vehicle is that it originally belonged to the KELLOGG ESTATE. We have been told that it was used primarily around the estate and driven outside of the estate VERY sparingly. Thus, the condition and LOW miles. If you have more questions or would like to see it in person contact George: [hidden information]. Note: It DOES NOT have an automatic transmission.
