  1. Ron, I have been following your restoration on the Kissel from the beginning. Wonderful work on a rare and interesting body style. Thanks. John
  2. Roger, you are a Master Builder. Nothing short of fantastic! What a beautiful Continental John

  5. Frank, I am interested in the Mustang. What work does it need? Do you have an email address? Thanks. John
  6. Very nice Studebaker, Eric. I have a 1949 Champion 4 door, that I was on the fence about selling. I am sorting some things out to make it dependable. I also decided to keep it. It is too nice a car to sell. I really like the Studebakers from the 47/52 era. Is your equipped with overdrive? It makes a real difference in my Champion. Thanks for the ride, John
  7. That's the whole package! Great work on the wheels. They are gorgeous, Ted. You are a lucky fellow. A neat car, and an understanding wife. Thanks for the post. John
  8. Beautiful work as always, It is interesting how much work went into each wheel from the factory. The little touches made each car from the different companies stand out. John
  9. That is one great find. Going to be an interesting restoration.
  10. You"re welcome, Paul, happy to help. . I saw the Olds at Hershey. Looked like a good car for the money. John
  11. Paul, just looked at Hemmings on line and found the 1952 Oldsmobile green and white four door sedan that was in the car corral at Hershey. It is for sale at Country Classics in Illinois. Price is $12, 950.00. John
  12. Ted, the Oldsmobile wheel looks great. Very interesting technique with the stencil. I always look forward to your posting on the restoration of the Olds. Ted, you, Martin, Roger and everyone else who submits their work on this Forum, are very much appreciated. The work is nothing short of spectacular. I feel this is a master class on restoration, and I am truly inspired by what you and the others do. Thanks. John
  13. I believe the owner was asking $11,000.00. Nice Olds.
  14. Folks on bikes are a danger to meet. Some fellow who should have know better, almost clipped me on Friday, and I don't heal like I used to. Every year you have two fellows in a cart going a little too fast through the car corral. People are people. I am surprised that no one gets seriously hurt during the meet. Steve, thank you and all the folks involved that make Hershey a success year after year. John
  15. I just can't get over how talented you are. Incredible work, Roger.
  16. Hershey was great this year for me. I bought a nice Buddy L 1935 Scarab wind up car, picked up a gas tank for my 1949 Studebaker, along with 1957 Mercury literature, color chips, and accessory catalogs for 1956 and 1957 Chevrolets.
  17. The Oldsmobile is really coming along nicely. Great work, Ted. Hope it does get to Hershey next year. Really enjoy the updates. John
  18. Terry, that is great to hear. Enjoy it. You have earned it.
  19. Martin, i never thought that an oil based paint could come out looking like this. That is a great tip! Thanks. John
  20. Martin, I am interested to see your use of oil base paint. Never heard of it being used on a car. Love the work on the Merc, It is going to be a stunner! John
