  1. Guy,It's an updraft carb, that iron adapter is not Cadillac but adapts it to who knows what. It does look early 20's.
  2. I'm guessing that truly would be a rare emblem. I bought this Cadillac emblem at the Iola swapmeet between 30 and 40 years ago. It's heavy brass with the cloisonne areas similar to a radiator emblem. The vendor said it and others like it were on the walls of the elevators in the Cadillac bldg in Detroit if memory serves. He also had some really pretty doorknobs with these emblems, now I wish I had gotten them too but sometimes this Caddy stuff has too many zeros in the prices. Anyway, maybe the emblem in the OP was on a door or something else in the factory. An old guy told me the original Cadillac bldg has a corner stone with the emblem chiseled in it,for a few years I was going to head there with a hammer and chisel and see.
  3. Something in the memory bank tells me Renault on the lower one but I can't swear to it.
  4. I have the whole shebang if anyone is interested.
  5. The Complete Encyclopedia of Motorcars says a Shad-Wyck was in fact a Bour-Davis assembled by Shadburne Brothers after the first failure of the Bour-Davis company in 1917. Then it says about 25 cars were made under the name Shad-Wyck. So you may have an original emblem that didn't have a car to go on.
  6. I really want to thank everyone who contributed to the ID of these parts,I got way more than I expected. As usual Rich the Handleman is right on top of it. Thanks again one and all.
  7. The parts were ID'd by the previous owner as 29 Plymouth but I think they are late 30. Any ideas which of these is Plymouth and what the other might be? One set in wood, the other in metal but actual regulators very similar. Thanks for any help.
  8. Oops,I should have read more carefully,my V-12 is Seagrave.
  9. I have a block with crank, heads, bell housing, few other parts if interested. It's very clean, came out of a Colorado estate,I think it was going back together. Don't know year. I also have an Ahrens Fox chrome ball, early one with the strap around it if that trips your trigger. Located in Cheyenne,Wyoming,PM me if you want pics and more information.
  10. Jack,I have this horn piece. The 90 looks okay but has a hole I presume for moisture to pass through. The 90 is brass but the rest of it is rusty. I don't want to dismantle the thing,if interested I would sell it for $35 shipping included. Some of these original horn brackets are rarer than the horns and worth their weight in palladium, that rod with the ball end was with it so it will go with it. Holler if interested. Steve
  11. So many people want an open car to tour in,but with one of these girls,if it starts to rain, just like today, you just roll the windows up and the family stays comfortable. I'm glad you sold it,being a Cadillac guy,I have to admit it was calling to me.
  12. Somebody PM'd me on this that Hyman had one that the guy could check on. I passed that info on but the car had been sold and Hyman was absolutely no help, would not give out any info on the buyer or ask the buyer to contact the guy in Denver or be a go-between. NADA,NOTHING,NO-HOW.NO-WAY.
  13. Looks like a saddle horn to me.
  14. I think I saw your wanted ad for one of those 90's. Let me do a little checking before you do anything with this pair.
  15. I don't see a name. Made a mild attempt to get a cover off but they're not wanting to come off. Anyone recognize this pair? Thanks for any help.
  16. I've got this one,it may have been dug up at an archaeological dig somewhere. Pretty pitted but doesn't look like it's rusted through. A little time with a flapper wheel, maybe some brazing on the inlet, just kidding, hopefully someone somewhere will come up with a good one.
  17. Those are implement wheels adapted to car brake drums, probably to be used on a stripped down car chassis used as a trailer.
  18. I wonder if he sold that one for $450?
  19. Luckily they got it up in the air so it won't flood out in all the water around there.
  20. Mike,Just an FYI,In the hobby they are commonly call "lockrings" and you want to make sure you get the exact right ones, incorrect or sprung ones and even correct ones can fly off the wheel and do a lot of damage to a body that might be standing in front of it airing up the tire. Airing up in a cage is always recommended. Also if you're not familiar, scammers are on these Wanted ads like vultures with stories like "Dad passed away and had a lot of that stuff that we are trying to get rid of" or something along those lines. Always a real good price, you send the money usually by Western Union or something like that, your money is gone and you never get any parts. If you absolutely hit a deadend, there was an outfit making new ones,a little expensive I've heard but probably well worth it. Believe it was McClaren in Michigan, others on this site might have more info. Good luck. Steve
  21. Bob, I know we talked about water pumps last fall and I was going to look and see what I had. I had a big old bldg across town,a guy rented the West side but bought a place and was moving out. I was trying to finish one in my backyard and decided to list the other one in case it was going to take awhile to sell. The damn thing sold before the ink was even dry on the listing and there was 14,000 sq ft of crap I had to move. So nothing got done for months but I may have a pair of later pumps, maybe even into 20-21. I was having trouble with one on my 15 and put an 18 pump on it with minor changes. I really don't want to sell any of them but I would sell one pair. They may have repairs, probably do but if you want to chance them I'll get some pictures. And I'll PM you a price.
