I think the problem may be a bad or sticking needle and seat on the carb the gas is not boiling you just have too much pressure from the fuel pump I'll bed you are wasting alot of gas down the carb and being forced out of the bowl-----BR

have a chance to buy one just like it can get it for $ 1400.00 unrestored what is it worth ?
