I have a few oil pumps but you can get a kit from THEN AND NOW auto with the water pump here is a tip-------there is supposed to be fiber washer in front of the impeller which keeps it close to back plate of pump with out it you pump will be less able to keep motor cool have some parts contact at----------------bobnroman@yahoo.com

I got it to operating temp and use the vacuum gage two time it running better and smoother 16 to 17 LBs and shorted out each plug to see it they all are firing thanks for your help

rebuilt my motor pistons, rings, valves, guides, head shaves, block checked, all new gaskets, and was careful adjusting tappet clearance-----------what vacuum should I get when taken from windshield wiper port did not recheck compression

have a 32 PA just rebuilt the motor pistons, rings, valves, guides, head shaved, all new gaskets, took time setting the tappet clearance. ------------------at idle I get 15 pounds of vacuum----when taken from windshield wiper port-----and as all got 4 cylinders it bounces around a bit have not check compression ------------------any ideas ??

thank you both I realize the spring will have to be adjusted but getting the material was my question here is an example of the one I am working on

Here are the pictures of the silencers for my PA plymouth I have a car titled in 32 see the unit that has the air cleaner in a vertical, above the motor position I guess they used the low can for the PB as well as the larger, vertical one that I used to have

I have a 32 PA my understanding is that Chrysler realized that the silencer with the air intake under the carb was dangerous in the case of a back fire I have a later PA silencer where the air filter is above the motor,,,,,, like brand new,,,,, the pipe coming off the carb is straight so it was meant to be used with a brass bowl only used on PA I am now running a BB1 so can not use it at this time also have the PA silencer with a angle carb pipe that can be used with my BB1 so it indicates that maybe they used BB1 on later PAs I will try to post picture

I have a friend who thinks he has a pb windshield few hrs away no Web access,,,,, It seems to measure different than my PA looks like a closed car piece if you can help please contact me at bobnroman@yahoo.com
