  1. Very attractive car with some imperfections, but the price reflects that IMO. I would certainly drive this car a lot.
  2. Interior looks awesome, but original engine and the seller did state that it did need body work. That said, the pics provided did not give me an idea of any serious problems. A closer look would be necessary of the body and the under carriage, especially considering the 65K ask. I like it a lot.
  3. 35K lawn ornament. You would have to be crazy to throw 35K at this thing and then start the restoration.
  4. This is the kind of car that will wreck a marriage. Way too much money needed to make this car presentable chrome, paint, interior, mechanicals and I'm certain that the electrical is original.
  5. Does not seem like a bad price for a '59 that seems well sorted out. Even if the two tone color break is not accurate, I think it is attractive.
  6. I really like this car, if I were in the market I would be looking for a plane ticket to the north west. I like the fact that the seller included a pic of the leaking differential, but this seems minor and why not fix this before the sale? Best of luck to the seller and buyer of this car.
  7. The beginning of rust in several pictures would bother me. You can't cover that up with pinstripes. I would like to see the underside of this car.
  8. I agree, this car was a big step backwards from the 1960 Oldsmobile. I would ride in the car if this was the Uber that came to pick me up, but I would not own this car.
  9. I do like a lot of Studebakers, but the Lark has to be one of the most boring styles ever designed. The designers of this car had to be working for minimum wage, as they sure put the minimum imagination into the design of the car. Looks like you started with a shoe box and made two cuts for the windshield and hood, then took the rest of the day off.
  10. Beautiful car IMO but, that statement "needs engine work" is dragging this car down. Would look nice in the driveway though.
  11. This is going to make some buyer very happy. Nice car at a fair price.
  12. Very sharp looking car, but if I have 55k in my pocket is this really the car that I'm searching for? It wouldn't be my first pick. Very clean looking looking car though.
  13. Normally I would agree with you, but in the last 10 to 15 years ebay has really screwed up the value of cars in this hobby. Best example that I would point to is the 1954 Ford wagon and trailer combination recently listed on ebay that did not sell for $55,000. A very average wagon with wrong color scheme and unfinished interior and painted bumpers, the trailer was unusual, but did not look like an early Airstream. All it takes is two people to drive the price out of sight. IMO this does not reflect the true value of this set up. After 40K two bidders sent the price to 55K now lets say he wins and a year later wants to sell and the other guy has moved on.....he's stuck.
  14. The glossy look of the top of that trunk sure suggests that the paint is in great condition. I can't see a thing wrong with this car. This coupe is as sharp as I've seen in quite awhile. The pic showing the absence of the "B" pillar puts it over the top for me.
  15. Doesn't get much better than a '56 Crown Vic. Not a bad price for a fresh looking car.
  16. Very nice looking car with a couple of issues that need attention, but I believe the price reflects that. I really like the color and style of this Cadillac. I have put some serious dollars into the chrome on my car, so that is the only thing that would hold me back on this one.
  17. Two 1954 Olds listed on the same day, what are the odds? I would say that 8K more for this one might be worth it. Low miles, nice looking paint and interior make this one look well cared for. Some people might prefer the two door for much less, but the body issues might be a expensive. Nice looking car.
