Bernie, You shouldn't have any problems getting the upholstery back on your seats correctly. Hey, if I can do it, so can you. It especially helps if you took of the old stuff.....Matt

Well, I'm still here, just can't do anything to my lil' lady. This really sucks because I wanted to have her painted before cooler temps come in the fall. We'll have to see..........Matt -

John, Don't know if I'll make the show as my health issues aren't straightened out yet. Can't even work on the car, just look at it. Feeling better now, just waiting for doctors to tell me when the surgery is. If I can get there, I'll come up for at least a day. Matt

Bob, This is correct. I'll have to see if I can get out my shop manual and scan the page. It's still hard to understand exactly what the pieces are and where they belong. I just ordered "alot" of each and installed/shimmed until the body was setting as level as possible and door gaps are correct. If the car you are working on has everything in place, you should just be able to instal the replacement rubber shims at each location and have the car just about where it should be. I know that mine was confusing because I had nothing to go off of, only the manual.

Robert, What kind of electric pump do you have on her? As Oldtank says, it's a long post......I know of more than a dozen people who've had problems with the electric diaphram pumps. The diaphrams are disintegrating after a few months using ethanol. Most are changing to 2-4 lb rotor vane pumps. They pump up to 36 gallon per hour which is more than enough. I haven't done this, just had a few I know do it. Also, be forewarned that if you are still running the fuel through your original pump. The ethanol fuels are likely to eat through the diaphram in them also, leaving you with gas in your oil pan.

Are there still any spots available? I am interested in two spots together. Thanks Matt

I have available the front seat assembly and rear seat springs for a 1948 2 Door sedan. Springs still have covers on most of the seats, so the frames are really nice and the burlap is nice. Escucheons are there as are the "ropes" on the back of the front seats. Asking $450.00 for the seats with the front frame and adjuster. Shipping will be at the cost of the buyer or I can probably get them to Hershey in the fall.

Don, Pictures are worth a thousand words when asking about value of a vehicle. How complete the car is will be conveyed, along with the extra parts you have, may also affect the value of the car. I'm sure that more people will chime in, but all will want to see pictures. Good luck. Matt
