Is this where the auto-holics meet? If so, "my name is Anderson and I'm obsessed with my car..." (everyone in unison, "Hello Anderson") I've enjoyed this forum for a year now, but have been only a wall flower, so I guess its finally time to step forward and say hello! I have a 1941-76C Buick Roadmaster coupe convertible, Royal Maroon body, red leather interior (well, vinyl) with a tan top. I've attempted to attach some photos...I hope they post OK. I've owned this car for 12 years and have enjoyed every minute of it (even when I was miserable.) I'm looking forward to getting to know the group better. I'm always looking to learn more about my car. Thanks for all the useful, and just plain entertaining posts!<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
I just inherited my dads 1948 Buick Road master Sedanete,it is in great shape and was running great! I went to start it today and it turned over then all of the sudden a loud banging noise happened and it stopped turning over. I looked and felt where the pully is and you can move it side to side where the harmonic balancer is attached, very loose. The harmonic balancer was tumbling hard when it would idle so Im not sure if that caused the car to sieze or what, how far up the creek am I??? Its a straight 8 with the Dynaflow. Any help would be appreciated and I can answer any questions. Thanks in advance!!
Hi I am new to this forum. I recently bought a 1993 Buick RoadMaster Estate Wagon. I am looking for the thin wood trim pieces that frame the wood look sides. Or looking for advice to restore. Thank you for your help. Haleysdream
