  1. Marty, Those look to be hubcaps. This car is in the next town from me, so I would be willing to have a looksee for a person interested in the car. I've communicated with this gentleman before on other car issues. Just sayin'. Matt
  2. Merry Christmas to all! Best wishes for 2013 Matt
  3. I also agree, but if anyone is seriously interested.........I live in the town next to this gentleman and maybe I can set up a time to go look over the car for another set of eyes. Matt
  4. Straight eight, You would probably be better off buying a re-pop of the window frames for the rear windows. Matt

  6. Straight eight, Roadmaster and Super will interchange from the cowl back on these cars. I have both cars. The front fenders, and hood are shorter on the Super as the Roadmaster had the larger engine and needed more room under the hood. Matt
  7. Jerry, When you say "Ineed all trim for a 46 convertible", which trim are you speaking of? Outside? Inside? Chrome? Stainless? If you are item specific, we could probably line you up with what you might need. Matt
  8. Mike, Looks wonderful. Glad to see you are back in the swing of things! I bet Old Tank is getting antsy after seeing nice pictures of an excellent paint job! Look forward to seeing more. Matt
  9. Wow! Just showed the picture of the guy installing the tire and he's a spittin' image of....................ME! Matt
  10. Cleaning up the garage. I think that I am gonna try to do as much of the interior work that I can, along with the rest of the stainless. Should be able to keep busy. Now just have to get animated enough to get started again..................Matt
  11. 4 bufords, Happy thanksgiving to you too! Hope you are well and enjoy yourself tomorrow. Matt
  12. John, now this ain't right! I guess I started all this hospital crap and you need to finish it! Hope you are allright and there are no really complicated issues to be taken care of yet! Get well soon and hope you are home just as soon! Matt
  13. Ah, Peoria, Illinois. My birthplace! Car looks very nice and glad you are enjoying it. What a great price on the paint job! Enjoy it! Matt
  14. Robert, I've not been on the board lately, so Happy Birthday (belated). Send wishes to dad also. Matt
  15. Prayers for Mason from Pennsylvania! Get well soon! God Bless!
  16. It's a beautiful and solid car. I've been drooling over it the last two years when I see it at Hershey. They have been asking $25,000.00 at Hershey. It needs a lot of work regardless and I don't know if it will bring what they are looking for or not based on what a restore will cost. I wonder if the higher bidders are from across the pond looking for another great deal. Matt
  17. Jordi, He is working off of a piece from one of my cars as a pattern. He also has my irons from my top for proper curvature, etc. Jeff, are you by chance making a extra or two? I have my eye on another convertable, have to see it this next week to see if I'll need another bow or not though. Matt
  18. Anderson, Looking very nice! Glad you were able to make a family event out of going to the resto shop! Speedo looks great back in the dash next to the others! Matt
  19. Really nice. Sounds wonderful! Nice progress. Matt
  20. Wasn't able to see the 48 RM this weekend. The owner wasn't available. Might try during the week if we both can get on the same sheet of music. Might actually see if I can do anything to the car this week while wifey is away. Matt
  21. Anderson, I haven't made it over there yet. I might try to get over there Saturday or Sunday if the gentleman is around and able to show the car. Gotta drop wifey off at the airport on Saturday, so the afternoon looks good! thanks for the ashtrays by the way. Matt
  22. Dale, You are in my thoughts and my prayers. Whichever diagnosis they give you after the dye, you are on the right track to getting past this problem. Keep in touch whenever you can during your recovery. Matt
  23. Thanks for the update. Glad to hear that they are o.k. for now. Matt
  24. Kids out of school again tomorrow. Power is out in several towns around our area, which in turn is affecting some of the schools. Luckily, we didn't even have the power blink here at the house. Generator rested once again, but you won't hear me complaining. Prayers going out to all in the heavily affected areas. Matt
  25. Rain really starting to set in here about now. Winds picking up a little. Probably around 20+mph now. Generator full, extra tanks full, guns loaded. Hopefully we keep the power on and hoping that everyone else is doing o.k. too! Matt
