  9. Very nice John! I'm very partial to the 47' Caddies! Their bodies are so similar to the Buicks. Thanks for sharing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Wiper motor off and boxed up to be rebuilt by Ficken. Had a great night at a cruize night. Was a beautiful afternoon! Have a great weekend everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Buy/Sell rules are in place to make this clean and clear for all of us. Lately, there are many single posts about cars that will be selling at auction. Can we not limit this to announcing an auction? Seems wrong that none of these cars have a price associated with them, but because they are "auctions" nothing is said. Not trying to throw gas on a fire, just want some clarification. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Have you checked voltage at the switches when this problem occurs with the front windows? Sounds as if the switches need to be serviced because they might be corroded. Thus operating them a few times ultimately causes the windows to work. Hydro-E-lectric in Florida provides that service reasonable. For the windows to come down, the solenoid at the bottom of the cylinder must open, that's it. No pumping action required. If your pump is turning on when trying to lower you may have some wires crossed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. We typically see from 250 - 300 cars. If the weatherman cooperates ahead of time, the attendance is better. I will be helping with the flea market area and will also be helping with a BCA booth. My kids will be manning a flea market spot to see if I can sell off some extra accumulations of parts. 16. On Sunday July 20th, 2014, we, The Scranton, PA AACA Region. are having our annual Car Show, Flea Market and Car Corral. We are celebrating 50 years of Mustang this year AND all Mustangs will be admitted FREE OF CHARGE! There will be an area of the field dedicated for Mustang parking. We are looking for vendors that would like to peddle their automotive related products. In past years, our flea market had dwindled and we would like to see if we could welcome some of the AACA community to come to our meet with their parts/products,etc. We would also welcome any and all to come and bring your vehicles for a wonderful day filled with friendship and wonderful cars. Feel free to contact me here or by PM. I can also be contacted via email Jackofalltrades70@yahoo.com Please include AACA meet in the subject line to assure delivery. Thanks and look forward to seeing any and all of you there. Matt Whitaker Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Since it's a 42' and quite rare, why would you change out the front end or rear axle? Seems sad to do that to a car? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Worked on some chipped paint and overall cleaned the car, finalizing with a wax around 11:00 last night! Fathers Day car show today had 621 cars show up. A few 60's and 70's Buicks. Only one from the 50's which was mine and one from the 40's which was a 47' sedannete street rod. Was a great day with the kids! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Try Jims Dynaflow Service. (419) 874-2393 He is excellent in my opinion and I'm sure others will chime in. He did one for my 56' Buick and no problems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Have a BIG Fathers Day show tomorrow. Paint touchup today and a good bath and waxing tonight. Just got done and I'm beat. Hope everyone enjoys their fathers day. If you still have your Dad around, do something special for him and hug him for me.......I miss mine terribly! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Joseph I have several cars. One is a 56' and it is a driver that I just maintain and enjoy for cruzin' and driving back and forth to work. I also have the 47' convertible that I am restoring. Just scroll down and you will find the threads with my nickname on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Can you hear the pump kick on? Any "up " movement on the windows and "up/down on the top should energize the electric motor on the pump under the front fender on the drivers side. You may have blown a fuse or have a lose connection if the wiring harness was replaced Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks Charles! A happy Fathers day to you and all my other forum friends and families Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
