The fender is just hanging there. To get it out of the way. That is the only part of the car that had runs in the paint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've sanded a bit more. Working my way around the car. On the windshield frame now. When finished sanding, going to spray a little more paint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ashtray turned out ok. Decided to use the one from the Chevy. Kinda matches the bezel. I also ordered a new fuel tank pickup and a moulding retainer kit to reattach some fender moulding. Fender moulding is reattached. Will replace tank sender when it warms up a tad more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, time has flown and the Buicks are coming out of storage. Going to pick up car#4 this Thursday and then I will have all of the parts for the 48'. Almost thought I lost this car. Trying to finish up some work on the '47 convertible that I'm restoring before I jump in with both feet on this one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I believe that two felt rounds go in the slot, so that the window guide rail rides in the middle. This is similar to a 47 Buick convertible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So, today I sanded and sanded and..... You get the picture. Sorry, no pictures until I get further along. As long as the temperatures stay warm, I hope this shouldn't be much longer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Beautiful day today, so I sanded and sanded and sanded and...... With every bit I wet sand, I'm getting that much closer! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
