  1. Have you acquired the guide that is available thru the DB Club. Good summary of past articles of older newsletters .
  2. The DA engine has the H code in the motor #. My early 1929 dodge has a Steward Carb and the 1930 has a Stromberg U2. Do not know if the Stromberg was a replacement.
  3. Thanks for posting the pictures on the DA-150. I was able to answer some questions for my restoration. Not much information available for these trucks. You can not beat photos of a fairly original truck. I found a Dodge Bros Club member here in North CA that has a DA-150. Check out Mike French in Oakdale.CA.
  4. Note headlights in post #31. They appear to be bowl shaped.
  5. Robert b Do you have the pictures for the DA 150 or DA 120 chassis? I believe the engine shown to be a Senior 6. There are 3 valve cover openings. The DA has 2 openings.
  6. Check out this 28 GB truck. You will see the Graham Brothers plate on rear cross member.
  7. My earlier truck had the can type headlight. The same as the 27 trucks. My 1930 DA 120 had the bullet type light. See my previous post.
  8. There should be a thin plate on the end x member. I believe it would say Dodge Brothers. Your radiator badge is a match for mine. Yes this is a DA. My DA engine #'s are H88314 and H79864. You don,t see these for sale to often. Make sure the wood is solid. Woodwork is extensive and could be quite expensive. I attached a picture of a portion on the cab structure. May two trucks have completely different headlights. I believe Chrysler Corp was interchanging parts when models were being phased out.
  9. The 150 WB had three engine sizes: Victory 6, DA-6, and 2252. These are the ME 1 3/4 tn, , DA-150 1 1/2tn and OE 2 tn respectively. See attached file. Book4.pdf
  10. My 1929 DB model DE had shutters that were vertical and The logo badge says MotoGrad only. There was no DB or GB as shown in my earlier post. I think I payed $5.00 for this one about 20 years ago.
  11. Note optional radiator shutters. I believe my shutters are a match.
  12. Here is an ad I found on Internet. It looks like a 150 WB chassis. There could be other applications for the 150 chassis.
  13. Engine is a DA 6 as is mine. Generator not on pass side. Good to see another early "E" series truck.
  14. Built Plate is on the windshield header. I just need its exact location.
  15. Great find. Is it located near you? The truck is identical to my 29 model DE and my 30 DA 120-B Dodge Bros trucks. Same radiator badge and cab interior. The interior is complete: spark and throttle levers, gauges, wood steering wheel, and key in the ignition. Noticed some patches on lower cowl. This is a common place for debris to collect and cause rust through. The picture of the "Built By Graham Bros" confirms that Dodge carried this badge on their trucks for this year. The ones on my trucks were missing. Hard to tell if this is a Victory 6 from picture. Generator should be on the passenger side. Make sure the cab wood structure is in good condition.
  16. Try this site: Fargo - Gallery - P15-D24.com and Pilot-house.com I found some good pictures of Fargo trucks. I believe the truck you pictured is in the 50's and I found this photo at the above site.
  17. Here is my version of the 7' stakebed. Is your cab a composite steel/wood construction? If so how is :othe wood in the cab?
  18. Try this site: Fargo trucks - a brief history some history
  19. You have good information on the truck and are quite fortunate. Could you post some pictures? I have a reference with listing for the Canada chassis numbers and will check when in return from my vacation. I know Dodge Bros had a truck plant in Canada.
  20. While in Santa Barbara Ca I found this photo at the mission museum. Can't believe this peaceful town had some riots during the 20's. The Marines were called in to restore the peace in what appears to be 1925 Graham Bros truck.

  22. Where is the truck located? Not sure where Orangeville is. Orangevale is near Sacamento. I live in the area and have a similar truck. A 1929 Dodge Bros 3/4 ton. I have a lot of information to discuss.
  23. I believe the Stockton plant built trucks only. Not sure if they were the heavier straight frames only or the humped frames. My 29 DB 3/4 ton has a straight heavy frame.
