  1. Not sure correct plate because of max speed noted as 25mph. Should it be 45mph? Could you get a true picture so I could make a pattern off it. Try placing on a scanner. That would be the best. If not take a picture directly overhead so all edges are symmetrical. Do you have fairly good toe plate tag. Mine was in bad shape.
  2. Not a GB/DB radiator since it has the wrong shape. What are the headlights? Not a G-Boy since it has a a six cylinder engine. Not an "E" series truck since the belt line molding does not extend to the firewall. Looks like a collection of parts. We really need the frame number over the front drivers side shackle mount and the engine number located near the valve covers on front of passenger side. This would pretty well end the discussion.
  3. I wish I had it also. I was able get a fairly good picture of an earlier model truck. Note the max speed of 25mph. I believe the DA 6 truck should be at least 45mph. Does anyone have a good picture of Dash Plate for these trucks? I could use it as a pattern to may a new one.
  4. The program states as O'Farrell and Polk.
  5. I believe this is what was shown here on the dash tag.
  6. This is my toe plate tag for my DE model truck. I believe this could be duplicated using a vinyl application decal, but first you would need a good clear toe plate tag to scan to create a jpg file. The dash plate could be made the same way. Dave does your dash have four holes on the passenger side to mount the dash plate? I noticed in the booklet picture the dash plate is missing. I my very well be it should be mounted on the wood roof support.
  7. There were two plates on my earlier truck. I will forward another picture of my toe plate tag for the S 114xxxx. The model was noted as a DE on that plate. The other plate that was on the dash was badly rusted and I believe had Load Limits. The later truck S 115xxx did not have a toe plate ( I believe this to be a DA-120 model). the dash plate was rusted out also.
  8. WOW! Lots of information to ponder here. KUDOS to you all for your research.
  9. I started a tread in the "General Discussion" area of this forum http://forums.aaca.org/f169/dodge-dealers-san-francisco-ca-350499.html. The building looks quite different than the one you sent. The address I had from 1937 SF Directory was on corner of Van Ness and Washington. Looks like that building exists today. Do you have an address for the location in your picture? The dealership may have moved.
  10. My card does say "SCREEN" in the remarks portion. Believe this to mean SCREENSIDE. I do know it is a 3/4 ton, 120" WB, with the DA 6. Not sure the code for later trucks apply here. I refer back to my previous thread and the article in the "Dodge Club News" mentioned.
  11. My reference is to a publication of the "Dodge Brothers Club News" article dated Feb/Mar 01 titled "when things got confusing" by J Bittence. The page is 23. The article gives a code 1-B for the DA-120 and DA-124. The article also states the code of DA-1-B may also be used. "Very Interesting "
  12. Thanks for information provided. I have a Tread in the Dodge Truck Section. Here is a summary of my discoveries: 1) Model shown as B-120 on card and I have Owners Booklet for a E-DA model. I remember seeing a reference to "B" code truck in an article in the Dodge Brothers Club book on Dodge trucks. Maybe these are the same models. 2) Card list shows wood spoke 21" rims and 5.25x21 Fisk tires. The truck was found in wrecking yard with 20" iron spoke rims 3) Was surprised to find it was built as a screenside. Truck found with flatbed and a rough cab. 4) What is "Order Number" noted as " S2007"? 5) I believe the rear axle ratio noted as 5.1 to 1. Is this the standard ratio of the DA 6 truck? I guess a lot of things can happen to a truck after it leaves the dealership in San Francisco. Maybe the wood spokes are replaced with the iron spokes at the dealer for instance.. I have the dealer as J E French Dodge of San Francisco.
  13. I have some questions on my build card for my 1930 Dodge model DA-120 truck? 1) what is the order number? Is the sequence for that year only? 2) Model noted as B-120. Why no reference to DA-120 model?
  14. I plan to attend but will not have my truck.
  15. Good point. The question is if the build card was a record of that particular vehicle as delivered or just an order made for a vehicle. The plant tried to match as best as available or assemble the parts to match. This was getting toward the end of the "E" series production. I find it interesting that my truck, the DA-120, has a different chassis and body than the DA-124 model. Even though they are both 3/4 ton "E" series trucks. I have both the Graham Brothers/Dodge Brothers DE model and the DA 120. They both have the same chassis and body.
  16. Need help here: 1) Model shown as B-120 on card and I have Owners Booklet for a E-DA model. 17. I believe that it is to much information. I do not know if any one would be able to create another registration from those numbers. This portal we are using is open to all. As an acquaintance I would be glad to share the complete numbers with you. I may have done so already. What other reason I am not aware of.
  18. Was able to get on line San Francisco Yellow Pages and found J E French Co. I also have a copy of my build card attached. Information confirm as model B-120.
  19. Thanks for information. I did manage to get a on line directory and J E French Co. is noted. The listing clearly says "Commercial Cars and Trucks"
  20. Received "Build Card" for my 1930 DB "E" series 3/4 ton truck chassis # S 115xxx. Truck was order from dealer in San Francisco Ca. Could not read name of dealer. Can anybody help me with the name of a Dodge dealer in SF in the 30's? I can make out a first letter "J" for the dealer as a clue.
  21. Received "Build Card" for my 1930 DB "E" series 3/4 ton truck chassis # S 115xxx. Model: B-120, Screenside, 31x5.25 Fisk 6-ply tires with wood spokes. Rear axle ratio 5.1 to 1. Date of order form 4/11/30. Truck was order from dealer in San Francisco Ca. Could not read name of dealer. Can anybody help me with the name of a Dodge dealer in SF in the 30's? I can make out a first letter "J" as a clue. The Build Card is a good investment of $25. The staff was very helpful.
  22. See this web site; 1928 Graham Brothers Screenside Truck - YouTube Great video. Check it out.
  23. Thanks for information. Just another piece of the puzzle.
  24. My previous post # 326 states what model you have based on your frame #. Do you have a copy of the "Master Parts List"? This reference provides the model information for the truck you have.
  25. Refer to Master Parts Book pg O-3. Model F-30, Yr is 1931-1932, 1 1/2 tn, 6 cyl, 136" WB. This is a Stockton truck. 1st frame # of sequence was 9,257,501.
