  1. I have a late 60s (I think) Buick sign that I purchased from a former dealer in PA for sale. 3 feet long, about a foot high. A little damage to the K. Otherwise a very nice piece for your garage or office. looking for $500 plus actual shipping costs. Or trade for other Buick memorabilia or Reatta parts? Contact me at 919.233.1973 or email at Marck@eastcoastreattaparts.com if you're interested!
  2. That old arm isn't factory. Looks to be a Barney crank. I've had to redo several customers headlights because the cranks ended up bending and binding up like that. In one case the white gear even stripped out.
  3. The explanation I was given was that if you were a Select 60 dealer, you received the badge even if you didn't order your special car. Again, it's an award, and the badge was part of that. As you said, some dealers didn't take advantage of their ability to order the car, or dumped it immidiately in a dealer trade. I'm just going off what I've heard directly from the horse's mouth. No speculation or pensively puffing my pipe pondering what may have happened. I've heard the same story from multiple individuals. So I would be inclined to believe it's true. The way I see it, the car is a Select 60 Reatta. The badge says Select 60 Reatta. Why shouldn't they go together? If I were judging cars, I would consider both correct. Just like both could be considered correct for an '88 Select 60.
  4. I have it on good authority from dealers, engineers and other people very involved with the Reatta project that the 1990 Select 60 hood emblems were shipped seperate from the cars just like the '88 emblems. In reality, they had plenty to play with in excess. In the words of Tony Alberto, chief Reatta engineer "do you think GM could buy just 60 of anything?" Most dealers kept the emblems once the car was sold for the trophy case. I've bought inventory from several dealers in the past couple years. A couple Select 60 dealers included. One was a repeat for both years they offered the Reatta, one was a new recipient for 1990. Both had the Select 60 emblems, and the first dealer (repeat) had two of them. I have one Select 60 hood emblem left for sale (I had 4). I also have several NOS portfolios, and can also get you a reproduction certificate of authenticity. Give me a call and we'll put a deal together.
  5. Thanks for the referral, Dave! I have a select 60, '90 Maui Blue/blue, and a '90 gunmetal grey/grey currently for sale. Working on a red/tan '90 for a customer that should be ready by next spring. Give me a call and we can discuss your wants/options. 919.233.1973
  6. Make sure the new tank has baffles like the factory one does. Some replacement tanks do not have baffles.
  7. That's what I figured given the part number. However the price is super high for just an outer lens. They normally go for $800-1000 depending on shelf wear or other condition items. We have 3 sitting on the shelf right now.
  8. Is it the full tail light assembly or just the outer lens?
  9. Paging Marck Barker? If you can meet me at the Fairfield tomorrow after the Reatta rendezvous I'll get you hooked up. Are y'all planning on attending the rendezvous?

  19. Kingsley, firstly, rather rude to simply answer your own post with an assumption about our parts. I'm not glued to the computer usually, and dont check the forum often as we're getting three Reattas ready for Allentown, and three other cars are here for customers getting various work done. Secondly, we do have some NOS convertible rubber still available. Though all three of our complete NOS sets have been sold. The one partial NOS set we have left is just the four pieces over the doors. I have a lead on another full NOS set though that I may have by Allentown. I also have 3 sets of near perfect used rubber with no nics, chips, or chunks missing. Far above the "normal wear and tear" comdition that you mention. We've picked up 4 nice lower milage convertible parts cars in the last 6 months and have a good stock of hard to find convertible parts.
  20. I've made a decision to drive the truck and trailer one of two Reattas we're taking to Allentown. This means I'll have lots of room for parts delivery. Parts of of interest currently in stock: - NOS sets of front turn signals - NOS rear tail lamp lense - NOS complete tail lamp assembly - 88-89 grey 16 way seats. Fully functioning- good driver condition. - Early 88 suede bolstered Standard seats - NOS 90-91 owners portfolios - 36" lighted Reatta logo dealer signs - set of 88-89 grey door panels in excellent condition - 1991 16" wheels ( silver) excellent condition - Convertible top window gasket sets Plus our usual inventory of CRT touch screens, instrument clusters, climate control units, refurbed radios, refurbed headlamp motors, owners manuals, convertible top parts, Hoods, fenders, rust free subframes (88 & 89-91), glass, and other parts large and small will be delivered to Allentown free of charge. Please email me at Marck@EastCoastReattaParts.com or call us at 919.233.1973 with questions or requests!
  21. We have them in stock with two year warranties, which is something even most of the rebuilt units do not offer. Despite what some people and websites may tell you, there is actually a difference in the 88-89 EBCMs from the 1990 EBCMs. We also have the 1991 EBCMs for Reattas and Rivieras in stock as well. Feel free red to call any time - 919.233.1973
  22. If you tried to email us though our website within the past week, we were having issues which have been resolved as of Friday 3/25. Hardly any of our submitted inquiries were making it through to us. As always, the best way to contact us is by phone at 919-233-1973 Are you looking for the front or rear sensors? Rears I believe we have a couple sets in stock. Fronts are out of stock right now.
  23. We will be there. With at least two rare Reattas. I'm shacked up at the Fairfield as well.
  24. Shoot me the VIN I'll run it for you.
  25. We do have the radios back in stock now. They had sold out a few weeks ago, and we just got some more in. I updated the website and if you don't want to wait for M&R's turn around time I can get you one out this week.
