  3. HI from Aus just about all these fan blades from 27-29 on victory standard senior and da will have fatigue cracks ,Ihave a standard 6 and a senior 6 both of which had blade failure Glen Smiths da and victory 6 also .We have changed the faulty fan blades with an early model valiant fan ,only minor modification required.

  5. Hi your car looks great ,I also have a dodge sedan restored in 96 .One thing that may be of help to you at this stage of restoration is to install a drip tray/channel at the back rear windows .My car didnt have anything and the water ran down onto the inner guard and rusted the panel as the water was trapped between the upholstery and the body. The channel is sealed at both ends with a half inch copper pipe soldered to one end to drain the excess water.(73 holden torana bypass hose connected the pipe to the wheel well at the back of the rear wheel.) PS .My german shepard was also helpful , keep up the good work, off to colac Dodge rally friday We will be in a 28 blue senior sedan so I can catch up then Stuart

  7. Hi my senior fuel line also runs as per the other Senior sixes ,however i installed a rubber sleeve over the pipe where it runs behind the block.I have had no trouble with the fuel. ignition too far retarded can be a problem for erratic running and overheating, Hope you find a solution soon so you can once again enjoy your car
  8. I HAVE SEEN A LIGHT TAPERED CHANNEL ATTACHED TO THE RADIATOR STAY RODS OR AS WITH A DODGE 4 ATTACHED TO TH E FIREWALL TAPERING TOWARDS THE RADIATOR ,IT WORKS 2251DB
  9. I read in my local car club magazine My biggest fear is that when I die my wife will sell all my old car projects for the same amount of money that I told her I paid for them 2251DB
  10. how is your progress i would like to see more pictures i also have a senior six
  11. As 1 of the rally organisers and the owner of the 2251 senior six I was pleasantly surprised to see a 2249 senior six (wood wheels and deep purple colour) and a 2251 senior six as well (on the trailer under restoration) It was rare to see the three models at the one time given their rarity in Australia
  12. hi have you tried the choke just to see if you are running a bit lean sometimes works
  13. I totally agree with nearchoclatetown if you dont follow this advice ,everytime you go to do something on the car you will probably be distracted by starting the motor and get nothing done on the car, also a motor needs to be at operating temperature before fuel adjustments/timing either way enjoy your car
