George Albright
Morning to all. Ed passed on bringing the car to Hershey and due to the rain that may be a good thing,as my trailer to take it from Hershey to Fla. was open. Thus I would like instead to find someone to haul it from Libertyville,Illinois to Ocala,Fla. Must be inside haul. Will pay $600 for the haul. Car is 1,000 to 1,200 lbs. About 4 feet high. 57 inches wide, and 132 inches long, counting hand crank in front. Please pass this on to your hauler friends, and car friends coming to Fla. soon. thanks,George Albright cell 352 843 1624 email gnalbright@gmail.com

padgett
For that price a 6x12 U-haul should work - Inside dimensions: 11'7" (139") x 6' (72") x 5'5" (LxWxH). Door opening: 5'0" (60") x 4'10" (58") (WxH)

28 Chrysler
I have used rental trucks to move small cars. If they ask "it is just car parts". (NO FUEL)

Trulyvintage
People who haul for a living are not desperate to find a load. They do not operate at a loss. The monetary value of a vehicle has nothing to do with the cost of transport. The condition & method of transport determine the cost.Jim Edited October 9, 2015 by Trulyvintage (see edit history)

Guest AlCapone
I think George was looking to score a guy returning from Hershey with an empty truck. He has been in the business long enough to know his offer was totally unrealistic and bordered on ridiculous! Wayne
