Couple of flea market finds

The Ford generator cutout pictured doesn't regulate. It just "cuts out" (opens the cirrcuit) when the engine isn't running. Without it doing so, the generator would try to "motor" and would run the battery down (or worse) when the engine was off. With cars having a cutout, owners would often leave the headlights on while at speed on the open road to prevent overchargeing and boiling the water out of the battery. .
