John_S_in_Penna
I have a 1985 Riviera myself, though in a seldom seen gold color. It's currently having its bumper fillers replaced, as this example needs. These Rivieras are competent, reliable cars, and I think the curvaceous lines are attractive: Edited February 5 by John_S_in_Penna (see edit history)
Rivguy
John, you've got a great looking Riviera! '79-'85 was a good period for Rivieras. Lot's of choices of engines; V6, V8, and turbo V6. Even a convertible. This white car looks good with a red interior. These are popular with Riviera guys. 1

plymouthcranbrook
It does look really good. But is that a piece of the body missing from the lefy rear near the bumper? When I expand it it looks that way but is somewhat blurry so I can’t be sure
TAKerry
I think the rivieras look the best out of the trio - El dorado, Toronado, Riv. Dad wanted a Toronado really bad and I remember going to the dealer with him to look at them. I even had the sales brochures for awhile. He also looked at the Riviera but he was an olds guy. It was going to be moms car primarily and she wanted 4 doors so he ended up with a lincoln.

This car needs to have new ones installed.

This car needs to have new ones installed. And thankfully, those filler panels are available for many, many General Motors cars, even obscure ones. The replacements are fiberglass or ABS plastic and often don't fit perfectly, so they have to be modified a bit in the shop. It's only the GM cars whose bumper fillers I have seen deteriorate and break. Maybe Ford Motor and others used a different material.
