Jeff Perkins / Mn
Nice car…..I would go black on both the wheels and tires. That would give the car a very understated look that I like, ala my former Model A

TAKerry
Looks like it could use some freshening up but possible get by with the paint that is on it. Is this a full classic?

From my knowledge, they are Roosevelts--a separate make--not Marmon Roosevelts, just as a Pontiac is not an Oakland Pontiac.
Jeff Perkins / Mn
I believe the Roosevelt was advertised as the first 8cyl. automobile priced under $1000. According to the Classic Car Database this car was the entry level in the Marmon family. After a two year run (1929-1930) this model was refined into the Marmon Model 70. Is this a full classic? I always think of the Marmon Roosevelt, the Franklin Olympic, and the Stutz Blackhawk in a similar manner. each of them trying to bring a more value conscious model under their marquee. I do think though that maybe the Stutz Blackhawk is a CCCA approved classic.
Leif in Calif
Seems like a high proportion of Marmons we see on this forum are Roosevelts. I wonder it they accomplished their mission of increasing sales. Obviously, not enough.....
