All original 76 Electra Limited. 2 door, 455/400. 37K original miles. Factory optioned "Firecracker Orange" paint only offered in 76. Looking to trade for nice crew cab truck or a couple Harleys. Cash price is $9500

That was supposed to be a Skylark and Skyhawk only color, but this makes the second Electra I've seen in it.

 

Wears it well. Needs whitewalls to break it up though.

This is an interesting find.  I wonder what the buyer's

thinking was, special-ordering a big coupe in a color

designed for small, sporty cars.  In some of Buick's

1970's literature, they actually state that colors intended

for other models could be put on a car for extra cost.

 

This is too bright for my taste, but if someone else

owned it, I'd like seeing it at a show.

It would probably draw a crowd because of the color along with a bunch of “experts” saying it’s not original.

Not a fan of that color on this car, though it looks like it's in nice condition.

Actually, I think I like the blackwall/road wheel combination on this, given the color and the fact that it's a coupe.  Maybe the owner was inspired by @JohnD1956!
