rocketraider
Don't see the point of having an antique plate that costs an annual personalization fee, but lordy I do love its message!😈
EmTee
Beautiful Riviera, just not my favorite year. I generally like these better with the 'mini-skirts'. 2

John_S_in_Penna
The one-year styling of the 1970 Riviera isn't as popular as the years before and after. But if the price comes down substantially, this will be an excellent example for someone.
John_S_in_Penna
For those who like the unusual: In 1970, Buick offered a purple paint color on the Riviera. Here's a picture of one I saved from the internet:
EmTee
Was it available with a plum interior?

I don't have the color and upholstery album for 1970 Buicks, but the Buick paint-chip folder lists interior color compatibility and has no plum or purple interiors. For the purple "sunset sage" (Code V), they recommend only "pearl white'" or black interiors. On the other hand, the luxury cars, such as Cadillac, offered more interior colors, and some unusual colors as well. For example, my "wisteria" (light purple) 1969 Eldorado has a plum-colored cloth interior. Jim Skelly
My aunt's parents had a '69 Riviera in the same color as your Eldorado. I have the 1/25th version of it:

JamesR
I'm probably in the minority, but the '70 is my favorite year for this fantastic looking generation of Riviera. Some people don't care for the "skylark" looking front end, but I think I prefer it to the somewhat odd looking late sixties front end. To me, it looks more normal. What I don't care for (with some exterior body colors, like the dark green shown) is the unusual chrome side trim stands out and looks a little out of place. With other colors, like the muted rose car that John posted, it seems to blend in better. Beautiful car, regardless, as are all years of Riviera from this generation.
