Interesting Dodge Brothers photos

You are right, it's a Senior. Very unusual car that would have been expensive for a DB. I doubt if many were built or exist today.

Here's one with the landau bars installed incorrectly....

I came across this photo a few years back, I'd sure like to know the year of this truck and how they had it labeled.

Post war celebration of some kind? Could this preceed the very first trucks in the Graham and Dodge Brothers agreement, the 1000/2000/3000 series trucks of 1921-22? Is the plate any indication of what year it is?

Many questions...

Anyone know what state the license plate would have been issued in? If I can determine what state the Camp was located it may help.

Here's something I found in the garage over the weekend. A series of papers sent to dealers by DB. The main article is about a military caravan across the country on the Lincoln Highway. It is LT. Eisenhour's idea to see how long it would take to get troops from the east coast to the west coast in case of an invasion. Several DB cars and trucks were on the convoy. There's an excellent book written about this called American Road by Pete Davis. But the neat part is the stolen cars. Way back in 1919 DB had figured out a way to let dealers know if a car was reported stolen. That way if the car came in for service the dealer would know it was stolen and could report it to police. Something that could be done now if the manufacturers weren't so lazy.

Some interesting photos from South Australia  down under, A 1930 Dodge DC ambulance in Melbourne, would appear there were several made, as there is a photo around of 5/6 parked in a row.

Cars in Main Street of Murray Bridge  in Country south Australia where I grew up in the mid 1920's

Car bodies and bits in Richards Factory Adelaide , appears to be going to a Company in Perth(not a lot of security on that lot) would have been transported by rail 2000 miles, and 3 railway gauge changes at that time. Appears they might have sent the cars unassembled to Perth.?

Couple bodies loaded on truck at Richards  - no modern assembly lines here in Adelaide

Here is one from the personal collection of fellow AACA forum member Walt G who has contributed countless hours and other items to the hobby. Thank you @Walt for sharing this photo with us.

"Pioneer Body Company in Sidney , Ohio was the builders name.

Has a full leather or fabric top that goes down around the rear window. nice looking car done in very attractive break up for belt line, moldings, body etc."

Below is a snippet of a Ross Roy dealer sales booklet showing a fleet page for Launders and Beverly Hills Laundry as having 12 in the fleet. I believe it's safe to say that the fleet listing was about the same time this photo was taken. Pretty amazing when you can link them like this...

From the 1953 Movie "A Slight Case of Larceny" with Mickey Rooney

This truck may still out there since this was filmed after the War.

Due to the oval radiator emblem it may have originally been cowl with chassis for 1931 or 32 with a special body type added later at some point.
