These big '70's boats are cool. At that price I'd want documentation of mileage, but when miles are this low, that's difficult to provide. A car this old with 2700 actual miles has probably gone for decades without professional service, and therefore...no receipts. What do you all think? Does it look like actual mileage to you? I can't really tell. Weather stripping looks very good, but are those scratches on the windshield in the ad photo?

I guess they can't be bothered to vacuum it out. I agree with JamesR. It's sat for many, many years without being driven. I'd rather have 27,000 pampered miles.

This is a good find, Jake.  I recall that the "Grand Marquis"

at that time was the highest trim level of the Marquis.

Note the sumptuous velour interior, different from the

other trim levels' seats.

I agree with all of you above.  The extremely low claimed mileage

can't be relied upon unless it is documented.  I would rather see

more mileage on the car, and in my opinion, 2700 miles is really

a negative to an otherwise nice car.

Hard to say on miles.  Tires are not original.  You'd think they would be with 2k miles on a car that has been in storage.  Could easily be 102k well kept miles.  Car does not really look like its been in storage that long necessarily.  Unfortunate colors, IMO.    Though the Grand Marquis was a higher model, some prefer the look of the one step down Brougham interior, including me.

With recent comments regarding mileage being false on some listings, I don't take stated mileage too seriously.  It is still a nice car, but yes, light blue is not a great color.  Thankfully, it has the dark blue vinyl top.
