StillOutThere Posted December 6, 2022 Share Posted December 6, 2022 '48-49 Hudsons were not factory-equipped with lower body side stainless and ornaments (mid lower door and fenders). Sometime in '50 there was a factory accessory kit offered to retrofit the '48-9s and make them look "updated" like the '50 models. However my recollection is those kits were the stainless spears only and without ornaments at the front/rear ends. So a question for the seller would be whether he has documentation such as the specific Hudson Accessory Bulletin or Accy catalog showing the kit with the ornaments. Otherwise, very nice car. Although I think a visor on any convertible is ridiculous.
