classiclines
Not Mine... something different... something wrong with stance... prolly other things wrong? https://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/d/blue-springs-1955-packard-clipper/7558748685.html What a car to drive. This car drives great. When I got it the previous owner informed me that it had a rebuilt engine and new transmission. New exhaust, Brakes with new Power booster, New radiator, New Tires, Shocks and Interior. New modern A.C. Every time I drive this car, I am asked what it that car. Most have never heard of Packard. Back in 1955 this Packard cost more than a Cadi. Drives like a dream, floats like a boat in the water. If you have any questions please call and I will try to answer any and all questions. plymouthcranbrook
It almost looks like it has air shocks in the rear. I remembered reading something about Packards and a self leveling system.

I remembered reading something about Packards and a self leveling system. The 1955 Packard Clipper Custom Constellation hardtop had "Torsion-Level" suspension as standard equipment. It's possible to set the leveler bar set to have the rear up like this somewhat customized Clipper.
John_S_in_Penna
The car appears to have been mildly customized. That is not the correct grille; the headlights look different; and the upholstery may not be authentic. I do like the color combination, however.

kingrudy
That color combination is the cat's pajamas IMO.
bryankazmer
That color combo is from DeSoto, not Packard. I suspect the odd stance indicates a problem with the Torsion-Level suspension. Vacuum wipers are correct, I believe. Why do people paint air cleaners body color?
