Sun Analyzer

That looks reasonable.   I like their older stuff and have some of it.  There is a “vintage automotive technology meets Dr Seuss ” visual about the Sun products that checks the box for me.  Snap on tools bought them out about 30 years ago and I frequently drive by the old Sun Analyzer factory.

In the '70s I was the oil change kid at a Porsche garage in Santa Barbara. They had one of these, which was the latest thing at the time. When a customer's car was serviced, the last thing is they would do is have them come out in the shop and they'd hook the scope up to set the timing. Many models of Porsche in that vintage required the timing to be set at something like 5800RPM. It was quite a show, but one time the oil filter wasn't properly screwed on. 911s have a dry sump system with the filter mounted on a large reservoir over at the side of the engine. The filter popped off and sprayed  the customer with hot oil. Fortunately not MY mistake.
