Solid West Coast car. Was a California built Buick that spent its entire life in the Portland, OR area until I brought the car to Indiana several years ago. Has the original 248 CI straight 8 equipped with the factory dual carb intake. Car is complete. Runs, drives and stops. Interior is complete but fragile and has wear. All glass is in the car. Even comes with several extra NOS parts. Yes, it needs TLC, sorted and regular exercise. It is going to a very good home and I’m sure, will be seen on the streets!! At this point I believe the buyer is going to leave it original and enjoy. A pretty rare Buick. In my dealings over the last several years I am aware of only one other roadworthy 42 46S. B Jake Moran Posted November 28, 2022 Share Posted November 28, 2022 While 42's are in fact rare, this model was made from 1941 through 1948, and 1949 as a 4 door (not sure about the 2 door fastback) So, what you need to be right and complete are the 42 only grille and side trim if I am not mistaken. She's no trailer queen, but it isn't something that you'd be afraid to drive.
