JACK M
This car has some cool stuff. Are those column gauge brackets a common item? Sure looks better than the under-dash stuff that we always see.
suchan
Like the engine mods and the gauge brackets, but a tach in a Model A? On the other hand, seller is asking $50K for a sedan, so there’s some out of the box thinking going on here. 2
Salt Flats Garage
The gauge bracket is motorcycle. It llooked alot better than underthe dash. This B motor and head will wind up. That is why there is a tach.
Fossil
At least it's not a SBC and powerglide. The engine is great looking but the price tag seems a little (lot) optimistic.

If you check the other posts here you'll find that prices are one of the most common things remarked on. You have a very nice looking car and the engine is a jewel but I think the asking price is high. This doesn't mean I'm wishing you ill will for selling it. Best of luck. TAKerry
This is posted in the 'not mine for sale' thread. Typically a member will see an ad on ebay, CL or fb and make a note here. If someone in another area of the country is looking this is a great place to find cars from across the country. As stated above, price is usually the first comment that people will make then condition. Sometimes the other way around. I think out of respect for the listing owner the 'for sale' section which is typically owner listed cars are not scrutinized quite as much. This model A is a beautiful auto. Looks like it has been well put together and def. a quality build. Having said that most on this forum look at cars for their originality, which is the AACA way. This car is a hot rod, done very well and I would think period correct. One problem with 'hot rodding' a car is that the builder incorporates their own ideas of what they want, which may not be what others want in a car. Something personal is a tad bit harder to sell than something that may be original. Tudors in general are nowhere near the asking price of this auto. Even concours level, high point cars would be hard pressed to reach 50k. A perfect phaeton maybe but hard to reach with a tudor. I appreciate and respect your want price, but I am sure there is a selective audience for this type of car in that price range. I think that is what some of the members above were generally trying to point out. Dont take it personal, maybe someone on here will take it off your hands or know someone looking for a special car. TerryB
Mr Salt Flats, you missed an excellent opportunity to explain why your car is worth the asking price. As a person with this highly modified vehicle you have the opportunity to offer more pictures or a video with it running and driving thus educating us on how unique this vehicle is and how well the modifications work together. $50k is a big number and needs good support information to potential buyers.
