SOLD - SOLD FINALLY UNBOXED MY 1934-1935 BUICK HEADLIGHTS and TAILLIGHTS - LISTED AT PARTS FOR SALE SOLD - SOLD

After all this time I have finally gotten to the very good set of 1934-1935 Buick headlights and taillights.

I have posted them for sale under "Parts For Sale".

I consider them in Very Good Driver Quality Condition.

The headlight buckets (polished) hade the typical dings from the (1st owner) tapping them with the front corner of the hood.

I could bring them to HERSHEY which would be safer than trying to pack and ship them.

Please PM me to discuss, as I have not finalized a value.

I paid a fortune for a restored set now on the car, and other than the dings they were not significantly better than these.

They are all fully functional and surprisingly nice condition.

Completely assembled, including stainless, chrome, buckets, bezels, lenses, reflectors, bulbs, etc.

By the way, I have not taken the time to clean and polish these - that is just how good they are.

Those are borderline scrap pieces. I would give you 5 bucks and a free coffee voucher, only if you delivered them.

Seriously though, those are NICE!

Much too nice for Phil’s car! Hell, then we would have to restore it! 😎

Ed, if you use the "ZOOM" feature, the dings are more evident - not "that" perfect, but really nice for a "Driver-Quality" car.

Good to hear from you, and looking forward to visiting at Hershey !

Thank you,

Make that New Orleans style Chickory Coffee from Morning Call, and throw in an order of Biegnets with powdered sugar?

You're not that far away from us - drop in for a "Cuppa" -

and when is your region gonna host a tour so we can drive over??

Texas Tour is next May, I think. Each year it's hosted by a different club in the state, this year was in Harlingen. Next year is somewhere between Houston and San Antonio.

2025 our club is penciled in to host a national meet.

Gong back many years, we've wanted to attend Texas Tour. A friend, formerly of Alexandria, LA clued me in and whetted my appetite.

Please Keep Me in the loop for the upcoming one. With any luck, and doctor appointments permitting, we'd hope to drive.

Any particular restrictions per vehicle type?

Diameter of the glass lens

The overall diameter is 8-1/2 inches,

and the exposed portion within the rim/bezel is 8 inches

Prefer to sell complete set of headlights and taillights,

but will rethink as necessary if nobody needs the full set-

Can bring to Hershey to avoid shipping, and to avoid potential damage or loss

Greg,

I have an offer pending but not yet committed.
I may be bringing all the lights to Hershey.

Are you going there?

G35,

Per my heading, my set was pre-sold, and was delivered a Hershey.

As Ed noted, you may wish to contact David Axelrod. If you PM me I'll send you his email address - I prefer not to publish anyone's contact online

Another contact - several posts above, Robert Winters notes that he has about 6 sets. If you click on his name at upper left above his post, you could send him a Private Message (PM) which he would receive by email.
