TexRiv_63
I have no idea on value, that looks like a nice polish up and go car. Need to verify the "no rust" claim. I have read that the biggest issue with those V-12s is electrical and can nitpick you to death.
alsancle
A later series 2+2 in yellow it’s going to be at the lower end of the XKE market.

Looks like a manual +, agree with your opinion, but I think this one is still reasonably priced for what it is. There was an earlier car posted awhile ago with what I thought was an outrageous price. I started looking (just because) at for sales, and even cars like this were getting strong money. With the prices of the 'premium' jags rising, all ships rising with tide.
Rivguy
Aftermarket support is good on these. Believe it or not, the V12 is a good long lived engine if you keep the cooling system in good condition. Yes, this would be at the lower end of the desirable scale but they are the most refined and comfortable E Types. Price seems reasonable.
John Bloom
I could write quite a bit about this listing but the short version would be that this could be a fabulous car. if you’re interested and you don’t know a lot about them, you have to take somebody with you who knows them. It could be a pretty good value considering prices on these lately, even the less desirable color with the 2+2. (Which as AJ mentioned, this would be about the lowest on the “etype pecking order”)..... so what, it isn’t a 63 roadster, but it also isn't 250K. Enjoy it for what it is. But if the sub frame is severely compromised or the engine needs to come apart, stay away from it. there is nothing more expensive than a cheap etype.

Yes, but it's "Primrose Yellow" and a 4 speed. It's the only E type I can afford!
