Terry Harper
My first thought is Hercules but usually "Hercules"text is cast very prominently in the manifold.
dictator27
Maybe Continental F124?
Oldtech
Head bolt markings appear to be metric so may be European.
automaschinewerks
that's a hercules engine, likely and ixb engine model. i have a gibson tractor with that engine in it, and my hough loader has a qx engine. the shape of the center of the intake/exhaust manifold is identical. hercules engines have the ends of the side valve cover rounded, continental engines have the valve cover with squared ends, including the valve cover in my erskine - continental engine. - terry Edited June 21, 2022 by automaschinewerks (see edit history)
Layden B
The head bolt pattern across the middle is quite unusual being 2, 2, and 1. These are from the 1955 Victor gasket catalog. The IX Models have bolt pattern across the center of 2 1 1 .
