trimacar
Wow, I was impressed until I saw under the hood, just looks too rusty and busy…and no air cleaner, minor unless it’s been run like that for a while…just my opinion…

Hudsy Wudsy
I don't know, but I imagine that the air conditioner could be rebuilt and updated. Any thoughts? Edited February 18, 2022 by Hudsy Wudsy (see edit history)
bryankazmer
only update I'd look at would be refrigerant type. There are a number of 55-56 Packards around with factory AC.
kingrudy
Striking colors, I have not seen this color combination before. Seems like a reasonable price.

I like the exterior, too. The engine compartment needs at least some cleaning. But I think, since the interior is clearly a later decade's velour and is maybe $5000 to $8000 to correct, the price isn't as good as it first looks. With some effort, it could be beautiful all-around.
Marty Roth
Agree that the interior seems more recent, and that the engine compartment might not be all that bad - maybe ? Potentially solid car for entry-level higher class driver? If I wanted (or even needed?) more, I could see throwing $6K or $7K at it. At least it seems clean enough that you wouldn't be ashamed to drive it on tours. 5219
What gets into people that they will pay serious money to do an interior and then use that mouse fur cloth stuff that jumps out as incorrect? The person who owned that car cared enough to try to come close to the correct pattern. If the original material is unobtainable or too expensive, why would he not at least try for something appropriate to the period?
