The owners are hoping for the public’s help.

Kansas City police are reporting that car thieves broke

into a storage facility between Wednesday and Friday of last week, and stole 10 cars. The cars were not part of one single collection, so many owners have been devastated by this heist. Three have been recovered, but the majority, some project cars, are still out there somewhere.

A 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible gold with gold wire wheels, white top has been reported as spotted around the area. In a Facebook group post about the theft, several people have chimed in that they have seen it.

Anyone with information can anonymously call 816-474-TIPS.

I think the title might need to be changed. KS is Kansas. KY is Kentucky. Kansas City is in KS and MO.  MO is Missouri, both KS & MO are west of the Mississippi River KY is east of the Mississippi River. It would be a rather long ride each day you wanted to drive your car and had to go to the storage facility to get it. LOL

Blame the media for the geographical error. The original post also listed the stolen Cutlass as a Buick Oldsmobile!  I searched for the article and Yahoo has corrected the headline, but still calls the Cutlass a Buick Oldsmobile.

How's that export stolen car supply train moving these days?

Containers can hide a lot of stuff while appearing very ordinary with common goods

Agree-

Living here in New Orleans, Louisiana -

our state postal abbreviation is LA

Los Angeles "Should" be abbreviated L.A.

but the two are often mistaken in print.

Some don't seem to care,

others will never bother to learn

My house is in Washington and the White House is in Washington, but we are three thousand miles apart.

The White House is actually in Washington District of Columbia. A lot of people don’t know the DC is the District of Columbia.
Geography should still be taught along with history in our schools.

Can the "average" grade school kid even spell "geography" (without  a computer spell-checker), much less study it?

Some don't even know there is a state of Washington, much less where it is.

If it weren't for zip codes, God only knows what might happen to most of our snail-mail.

Without zip codes I bet any snail mail bills would somehow still get delivered in record time. Did you know the USPS at one time was talking about finding a way to charge for email bills. Thank goodness they couldn’t figure out how to do it or our emails would take 10 days instead of seconds ! 😳
