ShawnLancaster
I've been trying to figure out this one also - see small hole with bracket - any ideas?
Walt G
It may help if you give us a diameter of the outside edge and the inside section slot to slot. It would possibly give those looking here who want to help a bit more information.
rocketraider
Would the spring-loaded door be access for a lock or to possibly check spare tire pressure?
ShawnLancaster
Yes - i think that was the purpose. Will get the dimensions later this week. Thanks, Shawn

DFeeney
I would wire brush the inside rim and I think you will find the tire size stamped which would help you narrow the year.
F&J
Your pic has been bugging me for several days, as it looked like one I found at a swapmeet to flip on ebay 10? years ago. I've been reluctant to post my guess as I just cannot recall if mine was a 2 piece with separate outer ring band over the tire, or if it was one huge cover without the removable outer tire band. The offset lug bolt holes on bracket looked so familiar like mine had, as well as flip door for tire pressure. Back then it took forever to ID my mint black shiny one on google images, and I finally spotted a perfect photo of a 35 Stude SEDAN show car rear view. I cannot find that same pic online today, but just now found this CONV 35 Stude. IDK. Yes or no?
ShawnLancaster
After a lot of reviewing of pictures for a bunch of makes - I believe you are right that it is 1 year only 1935 Studebaker. 1934 had the stainless trim farther out to the edge and I couldn't find a picture of a 1936. Thank you as I've been trying to figure this out for over a year!

ShawnLancaster
Thanks Kurtruk - if you know anyone who could use the cover, it is for sale and I can ship. I'd like for it to go to the right home.
Zakman
It missing the top piece which covers the tire threads.
