Vancek
An elderly friend has sold his '64 and '65 Rivieras but has a vast collection of new and used parts for the two cars in Colorado Springs, CO. I am trying to help him move these items and hope that they can be put to good use by someone else. Items include a rebuilt 401ci bottom end and numerous engine parts, a windshield, NIB door handles, brake drums and shoes, interior and exterior trim, radios, headlight motors, seats and much, much more. I have not completed cataloging of the parts but I want to try to get a start on finding a solution. I've attached a few pictures to give an idea of what is available. I have no idea of the value and would prefer to sell the entire stock. Moderators, please advise me if I'm going about this the wrong way.

Turbinator
Sir, do you have any wheels in the collection of parts? Horns, rear window defroster, any new headlight bezels in the box? Do you have any chrome valve covers for Riviera's? I'm looking for Rallye wheels for my brothers 65. I can send a deposit if you'll reserve them for me. Please advise and thank you. RivNut
Bob, The repo finned aluminum covers are almost perfect reproductions. Steve Lorenzen, New Albany, Indiana, would have the other items, perhaps some aluminum covers.
Turbinator
Ed, I’m okay with my normal inventory of cast aluminum turbine covers. I have some 895 Rallye wheels and even a 7” wide Rallye wheel. I was in hopes of finding out more regarding demand for wheel covers and wheels for the later years. Since I do not have an affinity for other Buick wheels or other turbines I have a hard determining what folks may be looking for. Vancek
Thank you to those who expressed an interest in these parts. I have arranged to sell the entire collection so they are no longer available. It makes me feel much better knowing that these items will all be put to good use. I would have hated to throw any of them away... JZRIV
Vancek, Thank you for doing research, finding us and posting the parts on the forum. Parts for these cars can be difficult to find for those keeping their cars on the road. And I know it can be an arduous task trying to sell and ship parts individually from a collection and sometimes good parts do get thrown out when no one realizes where to find a buyer as Buick enthusiasts are much smaller group than mainstream classic cars like Mustangs and Camaros. Selling the parts as a lot like you did is most often the best solution and am sure they are going to a good home.
