Markim
This photo was taken about 1913. Any Idea what my grandpa’s driving to impress my grandma?

Mark Wetherbee
It looks like a cut-down 1913 Overland to me, so that picture might be a bit later than 13. Looks like a fun ride!
dustycrusty
Hmmm, I was thinking it originally started out as something from E.M.F./Everitt/ Studebaker.... I do love those reclining buckets and the external foot-feed! Whatever the ultimate origin of that speedster, Grandpa's effort to impress Grandma, by you own existence more than a century later, was obviously a resounding success!
Layden B
Not an EMF as it has a transmission hanging down in the middle. EMF has a "transmission at the rear end", often mistaken for a "transaxle".
sagefinds
Those headlights and that oval radiator neck sure say Overland.
slightmiss
Not overland they have a radiator that is round on top. My vote is a model 43 buick turned into a speedster
Markim
Could it have been a Buick like this? I sure appreciate everyones’s ideas! Edited May 6, 2021 by Markim (see edit history)
Mark Wetherbee
Buick did not have the oval radiator cap. That is why I think Overland. Here’s a link to a picture of an 11, the radiator is flat-top but the hood isn’t louvred...
Chris Paulsen
I believe it is a heavily modified Buick. The hubcaps, springs, transmission, shifter and brake, pedals, hood , and radiator all line up. The headlights are not a matched pair. 1912 Buick Model 43 had the oval radiator filler.
Markim
Chi’s Paulsen, I’m thinking this is the one. Thanks!
