I guess in the early days of advertising for cars they appealed to the Basics of the population. Here is a 1915 Cow Bell promoting the Reo Company anyone have any promotions of their Car Manufacturer

Saturn autos used a cow bell for advertising, they sponsored a bicycle team and apparently its tradition to ring a cow bell to cheer on your teammates.  I used to have one of their cow bells, it was white with Saturn in red.

Looks like it says Ring in REO the Fifth The REO Six . REO the FIfth was a 1912 car with a 4 cylinder engine, the first REO six must have come out later, does anyone know when?

That is the new REO the Fifth, the original REO the Fifth was a 1912 4 cyl car. That one must be the 1915.

I have had this cowbell on every Model T I have owned for the last 40 years. It was given to me by an “old timer” back in the 70’s who said his father had it on his Model T’s many years before. There is no discernible writing on it.
