RimrockRandy
Greetings, AACA Members! The archival data on this photo states it is a 1908 Overland. However, the radiator geometry and the radiator emblem do not seem to match up with what a 1908 Overland appeared to look like. I've tried to search 1908 radiator emblems to find what it might be but have had no luck. So, that's why we're turning to The AACA Experts! THANK YOU for your help!! The photo shows a wealthy Jerome, Arizona, Doctor (or Dentist), with what is said to be the first vehicle ever driven in that famous copper mining town. You can see the archival data here:https://azmemory.azlibrary.gov/digital/collection/jermmm/id/7/rec/
1912Staver
Definitely not Overland. Hard to tell on the rear but it looks like full elliptical springs front and rear, chain drive . And there is enough of the rad script to almost make it out . Sandon ? Greg in Canada
trimacar
Solid tires are unusual to see on a non-highwheeler.....

Apparently there were nearly 50 manufacturers in 1908 making chain drive only vehicles.
nzcarnerd
If someone can interpret the radiator script correctly it will probably be found in The Standard Catalog - maybe.

nickelroadster
Could it be a modified Stanley mountain wagon. Chain drive does not fit and the rear fender looks like it has be butchered a little bit.????
gossp
I have put a little time into this and am coming up blank. I see an H as the first letter, but the standard catalog has nothing That fits starting with an h and ending in dey, day, der, or den.
Stude17
How about a Jackson circa 1905-1907. The front springs and steering look like Jackson to me. Not sure about the chain drive.
