My dad’s Car

Hi! New here! I’m trying to get some clarification on this car! It’s my dads. He said it’s a 1960 Plymouth Belvediere but all the pictures online are slightly different. Any idea what it is?

It's a 1960 Plymouth for sure. It could be a Belvedere, but the lack of any emblems saying so suggest maybe a Savoy.

Looking at Google images of 1960 Plymouth Savoy, I agree. That's what you have. Now that you know what it is, do the car a favor and put wheels and tires on it so you can put it inside somewhere out of the elements.

60 was the first year for the slant six, does it have one of those?

With that and a stick shift this would be a very easy car to have and use.

Picture shows dual exhaust so it might be a V8

Here's a thought.  Rather than guess, the VIN will tell you exactly what model it is.

I’m 72 I’ve been in the slow lane for at least the last two years. I don’t want to be in the “passing” lane quite yet!
