Guest Terry Bural
Hello Evertbody I bought a rent house that was built in 1910. Has an detached garage with a loft, opened it up and found this glass with some trim pieces. Anybody have a clue as to what it belongs to? Thanks for the help! . keiser31
Looks to be about a 1959 Bonneville with patio roof item....
TerryB
Looks like a wrap around windshield from the late 1950s or later. Clean it up and look for any I'd on the glass like GM, Ford, MoPar. Check the trim pieces for I'd numbers too.
keiser31
1959 Chevy with a similar window....
auburnseeker
The trim pieces are very likely from the same car. They may be easiest to positively ID. Find out their application and you may have a good clue as to window application.
Rusty_OToole
I agree with the 59 - 60 GM 4 door hardtop back glass. I believe the same window fits Chev Pontiac Olds Buick and Cadillac 4 door flat top hardtops of those 2 years.
victorialynn2
My '57 Skyliner has a wrap window also.
60FlatTop
Looks like one of these. The little barn looks familiar, too. Was it on Perry St.? In 1972 I rented a barn in the village through a PennySaver ad for $24 a month. That lasted 10 years. It had the little door in the peak where we stashed parts, especially glass and long trim pieces. And it had that sliding door. That was my private place all through my 20's. Now I'm going to have my mind preoccupied with what happened when I slid the door closed from the inside. Guest Terry Bural
Thanks everybody for the help, I also found a Motel T Jack and a very old rear view mirror, hoping to find more treasures.
Harold
Check the glass for code numbers down on the bottom corners. A glass shop may be able to decode them for you.
